4 days ago i decided to unlock bootloader which i did without any problems. Then i tried to root my phone and bam! i got the loading screen stuck forever which got me panicked allover. Ofcourse i did further research...
S-OFF should be next in your journey. After that, you can flash ROMs without needing to flash boot.img separately. It gives you the ability to flash radios, as well

I havent found anything about S-OFF that explains it well before i would like to try it out. Like what are the benefits besides not needing to flash boot.img for ex. Flash radios? Are they even good/important to have?
So I guess this negatively reflect on my status as a recognised developer; the fact I scored 3 in the test.

Well for me, not having to flash boot.img all the time was the main reason I S-offed my phone. But once I did it I discovered several other uses for it, like being able to remove the red text from the splash screen, jump back and forth between different hboots, and most of all retaining permanent root after RUUing back to stock. You see S-off is basically just permanent root. Right now, if u were to RUU back to stock with S-On, u would have to go thru the whole rooting process again to get root back. Im talking unlocking the boot loader again, getting the super cid, etc etc.. Basically the whole cha cha, all over again. But with S-Off, if u were to RUU all u would have to do is reflash twrp and install superSU, and presto! u still have root.. It has definitely made my life a lot easier

Well yeah i read this: http://android-revolution-hd.blogspot.se/2013/06/do-we-really-need-s-off.html and going from that i rather not have s-off since i sometimes may do wrong commands or something like that and i dont want to risk my phone for something like that.
I feel you, if ur not comfortable with it definitely dont do it. Thanks for the link it was an interesting read to say the least.
Im a complete networking/computer nerd..But what man in the right mind would not drop what he is doing to chase his wife/GF to the room or some tail??? even the nerdiest computer guys want some hot tail.. just saying if you answered c that should be -3000 points.... Just saying but the rest are so true... Also be warned like the OP said you can kill your phone if your not careful or even if you follow the steps to the T. I bricked my old HTC one X even after following the process. it seems i flashed a bad copy of the custom recovery to my phone and it went in to and endless boot loop.

I guess it depends on the person. I often go into what I like to describe as a "hyper concentration state" And I don't like any distractions, no matter the physical reward, who or what is going on around me, I can't stop doing what I'm doing until I've reached my goal.
Maybe I'm missing the sex at all costs portion of the brain most men seem to have.
