Well I would suggest that you take some time and dig in, surely worth it.

But here's latest in a nutshell: Pengus77 turned our beloved Optimus 2x the best phone ever.
And actually repeated it after that, like 113 times

Just noticed something. The zRam is set by default to 18% so I have changed it to 26% (under "performance" settings) and rebooted the device. Now, in trickster mod app, which I use to configure the kernel settings, I see a new option "zRam" which is set to "ON". The problem is that this setting overrides the paranoidandroid's settings about zRam and set it to 10%*.

In other words, I can't configure the zRam > 10% because the trickster setting override all other settings. I have confirmed that via terminal when I typed "free".

* it is mentioned in trickster: "this feature reserves 10% of your device RAM as compressed swap space"

Yep, wfd has been very busy lately. As soon as he has some spare time he'll improve the manager with dynfsync, zram, and more

From what i understand, your kernel as it is now, is not able to disable one of the cores of the O2X to increase battery life when the phone is sleeping. Are you working on it? Since i'm not asking for an ETA, i hope you don't "fish slap" me

It does disable the 2nd core when asleep since the 3rd release a couple of months ago... 114 will include an option to disable it also at runtime.
