Hi there i just bought an htc one m7,i used to have a HOX,i need to know if is necessary to have a certain hboot to install a custom rom? wich hboot everyboode have? thanks sorry for the noob question!

No, but I would use one of the s-off tools as quickly as possible before you do any updates. Makes it easier.
