Harman/Kardon Bootanimation and Downanimation

Now that the H/K Mod has found his way to our Int version of M8, I thought it would be nice to have a Bootanimation indicating it.

Instructions
Attached are the bootanimation and downanimation ZIPs, these are no Recovery zips. Depending on what ROM you are:

1. Rename the animations properly after bootanimation naming convention of your ROM
2. backup your original Boot- and Downanimation
3. push new Animations to the right folder of your ROM
4. Give permissions (6-4-4, rw-r--r--)
5. If you got bootloop or stuck, please boot to recovery and wipe cache and Dalvik, if that does not work use Animations from Point 2

With ROMs like ViperOne you just need to select them in settings.

This is my first bootanimation and I made it for my personal use, but want to share it. So don't be to hard with me

this is really nice! could you make one with the harman/kardon logo appearing underneath the HTC One on the first screen? and probably the 'audio' part with a light glow instead of wobbling around?

I am not complaining as this is really nice and I am going to use it for my m8, it is just a suggestion

Like most other ROMs : /system/customize/resource/hTC_bootup_one.zip

Not working!!!
ES Explorer RW /system
Rename HKbootanimation.zip to bootamination.zip
Rename HKdowntanimation.zip to downamination.zip
Copy and paste both files into /system/customize/resource/
What did I miss???

Dunno what Rom you're using, but I think the default animations are named like this:

hTC_bootup_one.zip
hTC_downanimation.zip

You named them wrong also be sure to set the permissions correctly should be 0644.

In renovate Rom the boot animation.zip are located in data/local....it works fine for me =)

There are two files in /system/customize/resource named bootanimation.zip and downanimation.zip
I just replace them.
How do you adb push with the right permission.
I am using HTC One M8

I used root browser and hold the file until menu pops up hit permissions.
