Are you using an Ext partition on your SD card? If so, reboot in recovery > mounts and sd card and try to mount / unmount your Ext then report back here. (my freezing and looping problems started because of the Ext partition, might be your case too).

Yep. I'm on the ASD version. I'll try it later when I get home. Thanks dude.

battery drains very quickly. what to do?in 3 hours with the screen turned on web to all battery drained. I saw that most eating screen, in 3 hours eat 80% just display.not in any version that happened to me! just this version eat very extra quick batery. HELP

Disable automatic brightness could help. Good apps to switch brightness stats fast could be dazzle or elixir from market.

I have no problem with battery usage here. Perhaps you should do a battery calibration? You could use this: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1024867

Would you share the link about setting up the data++ our if you built it in to the original 3.0.3 zip could you share it with us?

Sent with Desire.

Hi! See my posts from today related to this ;-)

Don't plan to share my changed ROM, cause everybody should delete the apps and widgets he (or she) don't want himself.
The needed things are already posted! If you need more help, pm me... ;-)

powertutor fairly reliable

No. Try powertutor from market.

Thnx for this piece of advice. Gave it a look. Very complete and complex app. A pity that in idle mode it's the app itself that has the highest energy consumption. Lol? Anyhow it rightly shows that the display is being the most voracious in terms of power. I suppose then GB had it Battery use monitor fixed somewhat. =)

I have a question regarding the audio quality of the stock camcorder app. What about that now? Has it improved in this release? 720p is not something I care about. But the phone-like sound of the videos recorded with the stock Froyo/Sense camcorder makes me mad.
Has it become better than old 8kbps AMR?

If there were no errors while mounting / unmounting, then the problem's elsewhere. I read there are also reports that no_sense doesn't work properly. I've no idea what are the changes it makes at lower levels. Try restoring to prior states if you had any backups done. (Lee himself recommends often backups, especially when there are substantial modifications to be made.) Sorry I couldn't help.

For all who are asking about the sense strip-patch which seems is not working:

Try to delete in /system/app/

com.htc.FMRadioWidget.apk
com.htc.FriendStreamWidget.apk
com.htc.MusicWidget.apk
com.htc.NewsReaderWidget.apk
com.htc.StockWidget.apk
com.htc.TwitterWidget.apk
com.htc.WeatherWidget.apk

Since 3.0.3 there are a few more com.htc. - widgets - delete them too...

HtcAddProgramWidget.apk
htcbookmarkwidget.apk
HtcCalculatorWidget.apk
htccalendarwidgets.apk
HtcClockWidget.apk
htccontactwidgets.apk
HtcFootprintsWidget.apk
HtcFootprints.apk
htcmailwidgets.apk
htcmsgwidgets.apk
HtcPhotoWidget.apk
HtcProfilesWidget.apk
HtcRingtoneWidget.apk
htcsettingwidgets.apk
HtcSyncwidget.apk
Rosie.apk
HtcLockScreen.apk

you could delete this files with adb, delete cache and dalvik, reboot.

delete files with root explorer could work too (dont really know...) delete cache and dalvik is recommended.

best way in my opinion: delete this files in rom.zip, wipe all and flash your rom.zip

Nandroid is recommended!

when the phone is off, hold the back button ( <-- ) press the power button like normal while still holding the back button. then let go of the back button after you pressed the power button.

I rooted my phone as soon as I got it so I'm not sure if you need root or not (I think you do)

Q: How do i set up my Micro SD ready for A2SD+?
    • Backup all data on you SD card (this will be Formatted)
    • The card should be formatted with your standard FAT32 partition 1st followed by an EXT3 partition (I would recommend a minimum 512mb)
    • Linux users use GParted or a similar software.
    • For everyone else I would recommend using Rom Manager or CWM
    • Once you have downloaded ROM manager from the market, open the app and click partition SD Card, Select your EXT size and set 0mb for swap
    • Flash the above mentioned EXT3 alignment patch
    • Restore your data to your SD.
    • Boot << Please be aware, 1st boot may take a while depending on how many apps you have installed.

    Auto-brightness tweaked!

    Hello all,

One of the things that annoying me with Sense-Roms is the Auto-brightness.

Auto-brightness is a real good feature, but the brightness is often ways to high.
Cause of this, i looked a lot in the web and system-files - now i have found something, to tweak the settings HTC made. The settings are into the framework-res.apk. I tweaked the original framework from Lees 3.0.7 ROM and build two different versions. In both versions the settings from HTC are tweaked to a lower level. The first version lowers brightness in average 10% (Lee3.0.7_darker.zip), the second version lowers the brightness in average 20% (Lee3.0.7_dark2.zip). To compare both versions in dependence to the original settings, i made diagram. Simply see the picture to compare the versions.... ;)

    What you get:
    - Because of the fact, that this settings are stored in framework-res.apk, you will loose your UOT-Theme by flashing this. You will get the original Lee-Style with tweaked auto-brightness.
    - If you want a Theme, simply upload the framework-res.apk and the SystemUi.apk from the zip-file to UOT and flash the files (You could use the attached zip-files to do this for a2sd+ and data++ files). You will get tweaked auto-brightness and your personal theme :D
    - You should save a lot of battery, cause the display is the most power consuming thing in our devices... :D
    - In the dark you should have it lot "eye gentler"
-minimum brightness is set a lot lower, max brightness is as high as always.

If you want to go back, you have to flash a older UOT-Theme for Leedroid 3.0.7 or reflash the ROM. If somebody wants to go back to the original settings and framework without flashing the ROM again, contact me and i will provide a flashable zipfile here.

    10% darker:
    Data++: Lee3.0.7_darker_data.zip
    A2SD+: Lee3.0.7_darker_a2sd.zip

    20% darker:
    Data++: Lee3.0.7_dark2_data.zip
    A2SD+: Lee3.0.7_dark2_a2sd.zip

    note:
-A nandroid is recommended prior flashing...
-The first boot will take longer, cause of dalvik-cache rebuild.
-Don't mix versions, use the version build for your ROM

if you like it, please klick "Thanks" ;)
