You need to be on the ICS bootloader(unlocked) and ICS partition layout , I use CWM 5.028e.
Full wipe the first time!
Install with cwm.....
Upgrading from a previous version no need to wipe anything, the update script cleans your system, dalvik and cache automaticly!
Your data and setting are untouched.
In the aroma you select the options you want, even re-selecting data apps won't give you problems as it will make sure there are not 2 the same apps. It wipes the data app you selected to install a fresh one. Even if you already got a play store update.
First time boot please let the phone do it's thing and let it take it's time to settle!

SuperSU note:
Note: now with SuperSU it is possible that if you use recovery 6.0.2.5 that recovery will ask to redo root after a flash. DON'T.
Please also update SuperSU with playstore and go to settings of SuperSU to then install it as a system app and reboot.

SuperSU works smoother then SuperUser as it gives quicker root acces but you need to get used to it.
It got loads of options.

You don't want the CRT animation that is build in the rom:
Install with cwm after you did a first boot and did your settings

FLEX_disable-CRT_animation

You changed your mind and want the CRT animation back but don't feel like reflashingfull rom
Install with cwm after you did a first boot and did your settings

Kernel control options to use with Terminal: (Settings are applied immediately and stick even after reboot now)

For a list of the commands on your phone (in case you forgot)
Type in terminal
su(enter)civz(enter)

Dynamic FSYNC control: (disabled by default)
Terminal command:
su (enter) df_on (enter) = This will enable Dynamic FSYNC (setting are applied immediately and sticks after reboot)
su (enter) df_off (enter) = This will disable Dynamic FSYNC (setting are applied immediately and sticks after reboot)

Led Brightness control: (Maximum brightness by default)
Terminal command:
su (enter) ledmin (enter) = This will set led at minimum brightness (setting are applied immediately and sticks after reboot)
su (enter) ledmed (enter) = This will set led at medium brightness (setting are applied immediately and sticks after reboot)
su (enter) ledmax (enter) = This will set led at maximum brightness (setting are applied immediately and sticks after reboot)

Load/unload Extra Modules : (Modules are unloaded by default)
(Cifs; hfs; hfs+; md4; nls_utf8; sha256; sha512)
Terminal command:
su (enter) m_load (enter) = This will load the extra modules (setting are applied immediately and sticks after reboot)
su (enter) m_unload (enter) = This will unload the extra modules (setting are applied immediately and sticks after reboot)

Enable/Disable EXTRA ZRam96MB: (Disabled by default)
Terminal command:
su (enter) zram_on (enter) = This will enable ZRam96MB (Reboot is needed to apply changes and sticks after reboot)
su (enter) zram_off (enter) = This will disable ZRam96MB (Reboot is needed to apply changes and sticks after reboot)

Enable/Disable LG 131MB SWAP or 260MB SWAP: (131MB is LG default)
Terminal command:
su (enter) lg_swap_of (enter) = This will disable LG swap (Reboot is needed to apply changes and sticks after reboot)
su (enter) lg_swap130_on (enter) = This will enable LG 130MB swap (Reboot is needed to apply changes and sticks after reboot)
su(enter)lg_swap260_on(enter) = This will enable LG 260MB swap (Reboot is needed to apply changes and sticks after reboot)

Note on LG swap: The 131Mb is default of LG
LG got this enabled in the stock LG rom and it uses the dev/block/mmcblk0p4 (unused partition) for it so not the same as ZRam that uses /dev/block/zram0 file. The LG Swap partition is enabled by default , I just add this command so if a user don't want to use the LG swap it can be done now with a single command.

Change system swappines value: (Android default is 60)
(setting are applied immediately and sticks after reboot)
Terminal command:
su(enter)swappines_0(enter) = set swappines at 0 = system waits very long to swap , Kills tasks very quick
su(enter)swappines_20(enter) = set swappines at 20 = Performance setting for gaming
su(enter)swappines_40(enter) = set swappines at 40 = Performance setting and some multitasking
su(enter)swappines_60(enter) = set swappines at 60 = Androids default , balanced setting
su(enter)swappines_80(enter) = set swappines at 80 = Aimed for multitasking/Balanced
su(enter)swappines_100(enter) = set swappines at 100 = Aimed for extreme multitasking , NOT GAMING

Update GPS lto
(this is done automatically with a init.d script , so in case it failed, here a way to do this manually)
Terminal command:
su (enter) gps_update (enter) = This will update gps lto file , if the file is not older then 5 days it won' t update.

Change system Fatsdormancy setting:
(setting are applied immediately and sticks after reboot)
Terminal command:
su(enter)fastdormancy_on(enter)=enable Fastdormancy = android default
su(enter)fastdormancy_off(enter)=disable Fastdormancy

Note about fastcharge option in kernel:
It is OFF at default, user needs to enable it.
Use at own risk, it is meant to use on car/plain chargers, don't know the effect in the long term.
And I don't know the effect when ussed on a PC usb connection.

The "FastCharge" app from playstore is installed in data, use it to toggle ON/OFF.
Or use the following terminal commands:
To enable it = echo 1 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge
To disable it= echo 0 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge

If you use fastcharge on a pc, usb will not be mounted and no data can be received or send.
Based on the work of chad0989 , Pidozz and Pengus77.

Odex or deodex?
Odexed rom boots faster the first time and is a little smoother in overall performance then the deodexed version.
Ram usages should be lower.

The odexed rom doesn't got the V6 modded services.jar but you can still make V6 settings. And the latest V6Supercharger does it for you. Benchmark scores will be a little higher with odexed version.
So it is really a personal choise if you want the odexed version.

Switching between the 2 versions deodexed and odexed is no problem , no wipe is needed as the script will take care of the necessary wipes. Data and settings are untouched.

BASEBAND VERSIONS
V30B and V30A are different
V30A got more code then V30B , this is probably because V30A needs to support a wider region with more providers.
The strange thing to me is that LG gave it the same Baseband number 1035.21_20121130.
So it is possible that depending on the region you live in V30B or V30A is better.
To be very clear the ril of V30A and V30B are 100% the same so it can't be that if you get better connection

-This rom is build as a personal rom that I share with all of you.
My main goal is stability, long battery life and users freedom.
All LG stuff works "as it is".
If you got problems with it you got problems with LG.
There are no aggressive tweaks in the rom.

-I'm not a fan of it because I think when you enable it it will make system screen unlock laggy.
I provided it for the people that are really in love with there own face
.

-Support?
No you won't get any, all the people that know me already know family comes first and this is my personal rom I just want to share with the LG community.

SO NO PM's!

-Thanks?
Well to all my XDA friends and don't know you Topogigi but thanks for your kernel!
And of course spica1234 , Stefan, Carburano, Thor2002ro, MoscowDesire, Vache , Ezterry,..... always got my deepest respect!

Installing Topogigi kernel can give chashes when you OC more then 1.3GHz
This kernel runs at default 1.2GHz which is a good balance.

Now I'm back off to the tablet world, cya..............

    • BusyBox updated to 1.21.0 version.
    • Xperia custom launcher2 added as aroma option.(My new favorite and works aside with XPERIA 1.3.7c, you can use both)

    • ACID Sound Mod moved to Aroma as a option and updated to version7
    • AlsaMixer as a Aroma Option (app is installed in data so can be removed easily, reinstalling it from market is no problem as support for AlsaMixer is build in rom if you picked the option in aroma)

    Civato my friend,

how big is the file? 1Gig???
Same as a normal FLEX release , 460Mb

    EDIT:
    432,3MB to be accurate

It is not replacing apps , the apps contain all languages , that is why it takes so long to build the rom, every app decompiling and modding.

    EDIT2:
REV5.0 Multi Language will not be released in this thread.
The new rom will get a different thread to avoid confusion.
It is a 100% new rom so nothing to do with FLEX_ICER.

The new rom will be named: CivZ_Multi_Flex with it's own personal Flex Kernel.
So look for the new thread in a few hours , days , ..........
    Final size is 410MB

    What to expect:
It brings what LG ICS should have been , all region support (languages).
30% transparent mod is also supporting all languages in this rom
Rebuild 50 apps to make the full languages support.
So if you plan on using this rom as a base for yours take a moment to say thanks as it took me 5 days in total to build this rom.
All the features of FLEX_ICER and SkyWalker kernel are available.
    Some new features in aroma.
This rom will also got the camera shutter sound off for all regions. It is no longer limited to V30B regions.
