Wipe data and the system partition before installing gummy and see if that resolves your auto rotate issue please.. others have posted about this issue and I am trying to track down what is causing it.. but it can be hard to do when it works fine on my phone.

please if you have this issue stat

1. what rom you came from
2. what recovery you used.
3. did you wipe both the data partition and system partition before installing
4. what gapps did you use?

1. Came from COS 2.0 to first nightly and then second nightly.
2. TWRP and Gummy
3. I can't recall what the factory reset does for either recovery but that's what I did for both. When I flash tonight's nightly tomorrow morning after work I'll try to remember to do an advanced wipe option.
4. 5-16-pt2_GApps_Minimal_4.4.2_signed made by banks.

Tapped out on my beastly OPPO Find 7a

Agreed. In would recommend wiping data and cache to all users. As a matter of fact, I would state that in the OP's install instructions.

Hello, thank you for this Wonderful Rom!

The best, until now for our Oppo fin7a!

Ultra Fast, good locking, clean, highly custmizable and stable!

The only thing i miss from the Color Os, is the camera app, i use the camera a lot, and took amazing photos with UltraHD!

Hey!

1: I was on COS 1.2 beta (Battery Bug Solved) -> Gummy (did not work) -> OMNI (it works there) -> Gummy (did not work)
2: TWRP 2.7.0.0
3: Yes, I did an advanced wipe several times
4: the one you linked (CM)

I´m loading the files again and flash (and wipe) everything once more.
Thx for your help

Update: I did install Nightly#2, did a advanced wipe (in TWRP) and selected everything except ext SD. installed PA Gapps minimal this time. same issue. no landscape in any app. I also did a factory reset from the ROM, still the same.

I´m happy to help finding this bug, as I do not use this phone as daily driver right now.

I have a Find7a International from the first batch, I was did pre-order on oppostyle.com with the extra battery, sd etc. Perhaps this is related to a certain production sample...

Battery life is decent. Just wondering how it'll do tomorrow with gps and navigation for 3 or 4 hours. Hopefully I can do it on one battery. Screen has been @ 100‰ bright for 90% of that screen time. Using Tapatalk, friend caster, YouTube, letting Beat Hazard run in visualization mode, and watching video from my desktop over wireless via es file Explorer and mx player.

Very nice! And i cant test it because my F7a was on the way to Oppo :(

One question: Did you change anything on recovery? Because every time you upload a new Nightly the recovery becomes also a new date and time stamp.

A similar feature to CM11s easy switch between HW and on screen buttons would be awesome!

Sent from my X9006 using Tapatalk

We actually have it working but there are two buys..

1. The opacity to the nave bar is not being set
2. The HW keys still have haptic feedback

We will get it though most likly in the next week

Something you might change in the future. The notification LED does blink, it would be cool if it could pulse like in COS.
