I have a problem. I follow the steps and when my phone restart the phone said the battery is empty and the phone turn off (the led turn red) but my battery is full.

Do I really need to downgrade to froyo in order to install this rom? I mean,did you try it and something bad happened or the phone didn't boot?
I really want to try out the tv out feature, but I am too lazy to downgrade and then re-upgrade.
Keep up the great work :)

That's the big problem of this rom
Unfortunately you have to downgrade first , to flash this rom and then re-upgrade to flash any other rom ..

Someone told about random reboots problem when he flash this rom without downgrade first

OK :)

Steps:

1.- Make a backup with this method http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=24408417&postcount=3

2.- Backup IMEI http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1591997

3.- And then I followed the following this steps:

INSTALLATION
Boot into recovery (5.0.2.7 for U8800 pro )
wipe data / factory reset
wipe cache
advanced and wipe dalvik cache
mounts and storage and format system
install zip from sd card
Choose , HORSE_Rom_V1.zip
After installation completes , choose , reboot system now
Wait for 3-5 minutes to boot ( dont worry , it needs some more time to boot )...
ENJOY a great ,fast ,stable and ( as far as i know) non bugs release
But i need time to do a better job on theming

try to flash the latest versions too ???
i don't know much for U8800-51 ...... im sorry

I found before 2 months some gps fixes for 2.2 ( i don't remember where )
i thing that working great and extremely fast but you have to test it by yourselves

Media profiles.xml for even better video recording

extract the .zips and put both files in system/etc ( use yours universe gps.conf )
give permissions ( rw-r--r-- )
reboot and done

I don't release a rom for these things , because gps.conf , it depends on which universe you belong ( i have to release 7 different versions for a gps fix so i don't do that)
and , media profiles.xml , its easy to do it by yourselves .... :)

I have a problem with P.M.'s ...
I cannot send a p.m. or don't show them ....
I try on different pc's and laptops and I have the same problem with pm's ...
So I have to ask mariosbbs if he gets my p.m.'s ??

Marios , what about the line in build.prop about the annoying message ?
And about the lcd density , if you decrease it then the playstore cannot recognized correctly your phone ....
I have somewhere on my pc a market hack , to avoid problems with market when you decrease density , but I have to find it ....

Zeppelinrox allow me to add in this rom his , kickasskernel script , so I make a new final version included kickasskernel script and some more things ..... :)

EDIT
I send a pm with my phone now , and this time the message gone correctly ,, strange .... :confused:

I think that both steps are with , vol+ , vol- , power on ...
I think that you made it once ?
You forgot how did you do it ?
You know that I never upgrade and then downgrade again , so I don't know it so good ...
But I think that you have to do it like as you did with upgrade ....

    insert sd card
    insert battery
    and do as you did with first step, ( vol+ ,vol- ,power on )
    when it finished ,the phone will reboot (dont worry ,it needs some more time to boot) on stock 2.2.2 firmware

    After that you can install recovery.img(5.0.2.7) via pink screen
    Boot into recovery

    All menu backgrounds are black , settings,contacts,etc....
    And i add a new .png file , that anyone can change the background with any image ( 480×800 ) he likes as background.
    I send you a p.m. to our greek forum to test the new framework_res_hwext.apk

    Well zyzas , i can do a lot of theming now , i can change almost everything in framework and i can do it with flashable zip.
    Also others Horse Riders , asked me for other themes and colours and i have to tell you that i will support this rom with theming .
    I'm happy of learning a lot of thinks in XDA community , i don't care of benefits right now , i just want to learn more ... so i want a little patience from all of you to release more themes with new colours.
