Battery difference between M8 and M8 GPE

As the title implies, is the battery of M8 GPE much worse than the battery life of M8? I heard the m8 is a "power sipper" much more when the power saver mode is on. Thanks for the replies in advance, currently planning on purchasing either, only thing that worries me is the battery life.

I have a developer edition that I converted to the GPE for a week. The battery on the Sense version
is much better. To boot it has 2 power saver features. The Super Power saver mode is incredible.
