Thanks For the update the Hotspot is fixed but im gettin the reboots from time to time still but maybe it's just me.
Well... I haven't touched anything with the hotspot so I'm assuming it was just a cm issue at the time I synced.

Anyone here have the zv9 radio update and experiencing reboots an other issues you can only narrow down to the update?
I have a test kernel that some say helps with that, others say its the same as before. http://www.mediafire.com/?k6bka5rzoo37az4
I've got your mirage ROM installed on my phone (not this mornings version--the previous one) and I noticed that the Backside Updater doesn't work anymore. I suspect that might be due to upgrading my recovery to the one that Jerry released this week....
Do the Backside updater and the recovery have to "match"? If I manually flash your new ROM will my Backside updater work again--or do I have to downgrade the recovery?
What exactly is the issue? They both should have the latest updater. If it's not v3.3, then you have to downgrade
My issue is that the Backside Updater won't open properly. I get a black screen (with "BacksideUpdater V3.3" along the top), and then, eventually, a "Sorry! Activity BacksideUpdater V3.3 (in application BacksideUpdater V3.3) is not responding" Force close / Wait option.
I'm wondering if the problem is due to running the Backside Updater that came with your 20120501 ROM and Jerry's 20120502 "Green-Recovery" (v5.0.2.8). The green recovery I had on there prior to the upgrade was the next most recent.
Sorry if this isn't making sense...
This is the way i think moving apps to ext should be done. There are no extra apps, no scripts, no flashing extra stuff, no breaking on rom updates. It is all built in to the ROM's framework.
magpie is a kang of the a2sd feature found in cm5, ported to cm6 and 7 by @firer4t. Just go into the manage apps menu, and there is now a button to move to ext right next to the usual move to sd one. it just works. moving apps back is as simple as pressing the move to phone button. simple, works.
Forgive my noobishness, but I'm a little confused by this. When I first flashed your ROM, I saw some "Move to sd card" buttons on the manage apps menu, and some "move to sd-ext" buttons (at least that's what I remember).
I flashed the your latest ROM today, and now all I see are "move to sd card" buttons. Where did the sd-ext option go?
And I guess I don't completey understand the difference between moving an app to the sd card vs moving it to sd-ext...
actually, thats my fault. since i started working on this rom i've been lazy and have been using a few scripts to merge in magpie after each sync. when i added the easter egg, the script decided it didnt want to work, but also didnt show any obvious error. what i should have done to begin with was push my changes to github and keep everything there and do stuff right. currently building a fixed build and will release when done (probably around 3 to 4 am). I am also pushing to github so don't expect this to happen again. sorry if this inconvenienced you at all. you could go back to a older build for now if you want, or you could wait till tomorrow morning for the fixed one
Awesome. I can wait. Thanks for the peppy attention! Will everything straighten itself out with the new ROM, or would you recommend a complete wipe and clean install when it's ready...?
yet another kernel update. only difference: compiled with linaro gcc 4.7 (said to improve performance significantly)
Tvall....
