Svocie does if you don't get the modded apk ...... but it's only the device and model name....... He his working on getting more SGS3 apps to work and most I think has to do with more build.prop edits and I don't wanna mess with the build.prop if that's the case.

Fantastic ROM except for Gallery glitch

Scarmon25: You've created the most responsive custom ROM I've ever installed on my E4GT and I've probably installed at least 3 dozen of them since September 16, 2011.

Only problem (which I believe you're already working to fix) is Gallery which FCs during every use. In the meantime, I installed QuickPic from PlayStore which seems to run smoothly.

P.S. You might want to remind people that when you use WiFiTether on the E4GT you need to go into Settings and Change Device-Profile to Samsung Galaxy Nexus (CDMA/LTE) and with that setting it now links instantly (faster than usual thanks to your ROM) to my rooted Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

I would love to try this rom, it looks sick! However, I followed all instructions and the phone wont boot, it sits on the galaxy s II screen. At first i just tried installing v1.1 by itself (3 times) and then realized I might need to install the initial release and boot then install v1.1 over it.. This proved to fail me also. I was Odin'ing to EL26 CWM then wiping data, cache, dalvik, format system, and calks format all then installing the rom. I also tried doing it without format system but still no love, any ideas? Thanks

Might just be a bad download.....if you downloaded from your phone, then try it from your computer....just try to download it again and see.....it should work...I flashed 1.1 this morning and it was good

Just Odin back to EL26, Wipe and Flash........on the updates I am using agat63 repack ACS kernal to flash MOD's and small updates but Odin back for ROM's cuz I don't want to chance it...lol

Most definately. I will most likely have another build out tomorrow or monday with more SGS3 Apps and ürbuild.prop and init.d tweaks as well.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. It sounds like it may be a bad download like mentioned above. Download v1.1 from your PC and move it to your sd card. Odin back to EL26/EL29 and then wipe data/dalvik/cache and flash. Or you can use a format script as well. Either one is fine. Then reboot. It may take a few minutes to boot. When I was doing the teat flashes there was a couple of instances where it took about five minutes to boot. But it sounds like you may have had a bad download.

I may take you up on that. I had to add a few lines to the updater script. It wasn't setting permissions on the system/etc/init.d folder right so the tweaks wasn't being used on my test, I almost have everything ironed out. I am going to try my little tweaks from a fresh flash tonight sometime. Its 9PM where I'm at now. If all works well I may send you a copy just to make sure it works on someone else's phone then post a link. One thing I don't want is people to have issues that I could have prevented easily. :)

Maybe once I get this a little farther then I can graduate to carrots. LoL. Well I have all the live wallpapers working. But now I'm getting some FC on the gallery. I've gotta run out for a little.bit. I'm gonna hammer it out tonight.

On another note. I am addicted to SVoice. That is the coolest thing since sliced bread. If you haven't had a chance to play with it you have to. You can compose text and send. You can do anything. An simple little things like saying open calendar opens the calendar. But saying open my calendar opens your agenda. And it works on any app. Like you can say open reddit news and it will open it. I am really impressed with it.

You talking bout the standard gallery or the SGS3 gallery? I have been getting a FC on the standard gallery, been using quickpic.....yes I love Svoice, it's nice and runs smooth...every now and then it freezes up/stop and have to go back into it.....but it's really nice

    I will update the OP with this info shortly.

    For the next few weeks my fellow team member Timmetal who is totally awesome by the way. Is going to take over this ROM. I will be in here and the other threads answering questions and helping as I always do but won't be doing any actual work on this.

    Pretty much I have four weeks left on unemployment. I don't know if I will get an extension or not so I am redoing resumes and finding at least five good jobs a day to apply for instead of two. Doesn't sound like much but believe me. Between personality test and all the other crap its about 1-2 hours per job app. So it takes up some time. As soon as I get things squared away I plan on resuming this and also starting another project that I have had in mind called Super Clean Touchwiz. Pretty much its a super clean UI with some modifications that make it run and look soon much better. But anyway. Please give the guy the same love you have shown me as I'm sure you will.



    I am not responsible for your phone not booting, damage to your device in any shape fashion or form. Follow my outlined directions and you should have no issue whatsoever.

    This is my first ROM that I am publicly releasing. I have been making my own personal build for a while but never thought they were worth releasing. I figured I would share this one.
    This is a stock, mildly de-bloated stock FF09 ROM that has been themed to include a look of the GS3 and Stock ICS.

    There are a lot of people I would like to thank for help I have received but honestly this page would go on forever if I typed them all out. You know who you are. Thanks especially to my testers that help me when I am unable to flash a build. I helps me so much more then you may realize.

    This ROM includes Mods from the following locations and Devs. If you have a minute. Please let them know how much we appreciate them by slapping their thanks button :)

    Note from Agat about his kernel.

    Agat has informed me that after several users tested on his kernel. Him and Sfhub believe the EMMC bug MAY have been fixed. They had several testers wipe data and do several operations while on various ROMs and none of them bricked.

    What does this mean to you? This means that if you so choose to, you may be able to resume flashing as we used too all that time ago before the EMMC bug was brought to light. Now I can't confirm or dispute this as I do not have a way to get another phone so I cannot chance it. But based on what I have heard so far. Many others are getting the same results.

    If you have any further questions about this. Hit Agat up in his thread. It should be linked above somewhere and I am sure he will be able to go into more detail on it. Everyone please be careful.

    Guide:
    Download ROM from link below and place on your SD Card.
    I personally recommend Odining stock EL29 before flashing.
    Flash the EL26 Stock Repack Kernel (Linked Below as well if needed)
    Boot to recovery and wipe data, system, and cache or use Calkulin’s Format all script.
    Flash ROM, wait forever, reboot and profit.
    Note: I did notice this ROM does seem to take a while to flash. So be patient.

    I am open to all ideas and suggestions. Keep in mind I am not a Dev by any means. This is a project that I am going to keep working on. I would have done it as a theme only but I plan to make plenty of changes along the way.

    Hey all, wanted to give you guys a little bit of an update. I got my odexed base done and working. I have been working this week thanks to some people needing PC Repair and Networking jobs done. Being unemployed, that's a blessing. I haven't been able to devote a lot of time to this project the past few days due to that. Things are almost done and that means I will be able to put some more time into it. Really I just have to odex the launcher and a few mods and incorporate them into the ROM. I want it out as soon as possible but I also want this build to be smooth. My goal for this release is not a lot of additions but mainly removing problem pieces and really making a nice smooth running base. I want to start incorporating more and more of the SGS3 but I don't want to bring more mods onto an already problematic build. ,I want good battery, and smoothness. There is also a new kernel that might get to make it in the build if it's released in time 'Shhhhhhhhhh :)" I appreciate the people in this thread that enjoy this build and their patience. I also may be starting a new project in the near future. Have a few ideas floating around.

    I get wanting some more features man. And scar is great and very helpful, and is always looking for input on how to make this rom better. But to be fair, you could have been far more tactful about the way you phrased that when you came in here, which is why you hit some grain. You could have said "these are the issues I am having..." and not had the sarcastic tone about the battery life. When asking for features, you could have said "some things I would love to see are...".

    Respect your devs, who do this in their free time, for free, for you, and you will be respected. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk here. I just thought I'd point it out.
