I found why it was crashing, at least in my case!
platformbuilder was constantly crashing with the 23047 XIP.

There are 3 files that need to be removed from ROM\Shared\23047\MSXIPKernel :
coredll.dll
diskcache.dll
filesys.exe

Now it compiles perfectly. Don't know yet if it works or not, but I finally get a nbh...

for me its working without deleting any files:S
but im not able to check the nbh till tonight:S

tested my nbh and it went a little further i see the red letters now in the bottom right and then it stands still any one else had luck?

No it's not, sorry for not giving my results...

I compiled 3 different nbh, none of them worked, and thay all gave the same error I had as with billabongstaff first french rom (freeze on boot).

I haven't been able to compile successfully yet, don't know why...

EDIT : It could be useful to know how billabongstaff did in order to correct the issue...

i had contact with billabong yesterday evening
he said to remodule files and wich files it should be
done that and made a new nbh wich wouldnt boot
i see the startupscreen then the red letters appear on the right downside and then it hangs
he whas also talking about xipporting but i havnt eaten any cake of that so i dropped the proces
as i had the wonderfull news from billabong that he is gonna post a dutch 6.5 today or maybe tommorow

gonna try deleting the files you mentioned

as i still have the kitchen on the laptop prepared as how billabong said it to be

(went from 534 to 512 files)

as im looking at the files you mentioned to be deleted i see it .dll
shouldnt.dll be seperate files and not folders as they are now

and again two more .nbh files to test tonight

Then your nbh are freezing at the very same point mine are.

And I don't think deleting the folders is the right thing finally, since you can compile with them.

Did you have, when you launch the compilation, messages about files getting overwritten, at the very beginning of the log? I did, about files in the XIP.

Then i must have done something wrong at some point...

I will take again your kitchen, and restart the port to french.

But I don't understand (yet) where I did wrong! ^^

its not my kitchen

The modules that MUST BE recmodded are those inside BROWSING, BROWSINGCORE AND BROWSINGIE under SYS/[BUILD NUMBER]/COMMON/SHARED

Try that. Everything should work. And make sure you have correct structure in the EXT package:
Example:
If a package is Manilla_2_XXX_XXX, there should be inside 2 folders (0409 or whatever language and files. If you find any module outside these folders, recmod it and move it to files).
Just on a note, under 0409 (or whatever language folder), should be also a folder named files, which is NOT the one you should copy recmodded modules to.
