No SD card, so the RUU must be the .exe. while I'm unsure about S-Off, I don't think it will impact running the RUU while you are in fastboot mode after you relock. What process did you follow?

Should be relock, boot into fastboot, run RUU.

Note that if you are on the eng bootloader, you should not re lock, you will hard brick.

I am stuck at step 6 (at the htc screen) - I get this

error:cannot load "PL8320000-DNA" Unknown error

I try again and get this error
unknown partition "PL8320000-DNA

I have the PL8320000-DNA zip file in my ADB working folder...

Any thoughts.

I got adb working! however it says my model ID is "PJ8310000" this is the AT&T HTC One X I have... the HTC One X download in this post however is "PJ8312000-OneX.zip"
Am I missing something here? or can I use this zip?

Opps ok that did that step (I add .zip) so it sent the zip and got an OKAY (2.797s)

I got the failed (remote 92xxxxxx) message
I straight away did fastboot oem boot

Then got a bunch of errors - last 2 line show
Failed (status read failed (too many links))
finished. total time 1.048w

Now phone is stuck at the white HTC screen - been there for about 5 mins now - how long should it stay there?

Tks

So if you've already unlocked do you still need s off?

Your original problem was that when you flashed the p8300000-dna zip the first time you got error 92 (which is what you wanted) then you flashed it again and got error 99 (which is what you don't want) your not supposed to flash it twice

Try restoring a nandroid that's how I fixed it

How about you read it guy? There are no .bat's to be made WITHOUT permission. That's in reguards to stealing work, not having to do with if its possible.

Don't be so quick on the PMS trigger

I relock then reboot into fastboot with USB connected then ran RUU.exe I right clicked it but an error comes up stating something about running time. I've just reunlocked the bootloader & just keep trying the soff without going to stock

It shouldn't stay there for more than a few seconds.

Try flashing the newest cwr and try again.

If it still doesn't work try putting a stock kernel and Rom on your phone and trying again.

The process is already too simple... Scripts are potentially dangerous and will not be made this process literally takes two minutes couldn't be easier
