my only language is english. where is the link at on the site? also can my girlfriend use this being that she only speaks english as well? this rom just seems the most suitable

is the rom in an xml file instead of zip? that's all i could find

I'm not in a position to replace my ROM at the moment (maybe when I have some free time - I've never flashed an Android phone before), but I'm wondering whether it's possible to apply your Messaging/MMS fix to the stock ROM (rooted) - is it possible with a replacement Messaging.apk, or some settings, or something?

You must edit build.prop for gsm and you must add a correct apn file for european gsm.

sorry I'm a noob with the motorola phones and this droid 4. It's my girlfriends phone...shes rooted and has safestrap 3.05 but i'm not sure how to install the safestrap zip you provided, when i try to through the recovery it fails...the last verison of safestrap i managed to get was in an apk for which was unusual i thought but anyway can you instruct me how to upgrade

I see you said that it can be installed as an update so you don't lose any data. I downloaded the version from the eMail, but it says it's a "Lite" version - what languages does that have in it? There's not much point in installing that if it doesn't have English UK, so I'd probably consider paying for the full version.

In the Lite version there are optimizations gsm, all locales, all europeans APN but the rom is not fully translated into all languages.
In the Full version there are optimizations gsm, all locales, all europeans APN, all tts and vlingo languages and the rom is fully translated into all languages.
With the Full version you can correctly setup the phone after a factory restore and if you want you can too uninstall safestrap and unroot the phone.
Is a full GSM Rom update for European user.

When i make the update. The installation stopeed because the "signature verification failed"

Have you an idea for solve my problem ?

My phone is a droid 4 xt894 verizon

I found the problem. I'm sorry, the old owner don't keep the phone rooted.

    Advice post-installation:
    - ATTENTION: the version for JB automatically performs a factory reset at first install
    - After installing the ROM to optimize the GSM go into the hidden menu Testing typing the code *#*#4636#*#* and you have to make sure that the rom has set and otherwise you have to set: Phone info -> Set prefered network type -> GSM auto (PRL)

    You can use this patch that will remove every Gapps except the Play Store.

    This isn't correct.
    This rom uses the stock kernel so it doesn't needs safestrap to boot, safestrap only is needed to boot roms that use a kexec-ed kernel.

    If you want you can unroot the phone and uninstall safestrap but you can leave them without problems. This only is a your choice.

    I'm not creating any spam list, I'm using the email addresses only to notifying the new updates and to avoid the band of my site to be consumed quickly.

    I'm working on the Motorola Droid 4 from more than an year and I made for it:
    - this rom
    - the gsm patch
    - the bmm patch
    - the minimal gapps

    I started to working on it for me because I'm using this phone on GSM and I made available ​​my work to everyone.
    Without me and my work you could not use your phone on GSM as you are doing and I should be banned from xda?


    As far as I'm concerned should be banned users that use xda only to download other people's work without thanks or comment.
