Do you get better battery life with the standard kernel that cones with the ROM or the hydracore? I seem to be getting high battery drain with Hydrcore

Good to hear, AniDroid is the way to go if you guys are having network disconnect issues. OP is updated with this info. Talked to Entropy512 and seems like he is gonna look into some stuff this weekend. Which is awesome news if he finds the source of this. Also started a dialog with gavin and novic but they have yet to answer but I have no rush as long as there is a solution.
FYI, im using AniDroid aswell and loving it.

When ever I make a backup of the properties.conf file I am not allowed to change permissions. I use root browser go to etc\paranoid and copy the properties.contents file and paste it in my SD card....then when I try to change the permission it says its not allowed with this file...can anyone tell me how I can set the permissions for this file, updating a nightly becomes extra tedious when u have to redo all ur pa settings everytime (he pa backup and restore doesn't work for me)...thanks
Are you sure you are rooted? Did you switch to a custom kernel?

i did the jump to PA, and am now cracking my head trying to understand the myriad of dpi settings :good:
once i switched though, i seem to have lost my carrier name, it's showing as "No Service" although i have service, and web browsing etc is fine. any idea?
ps. what is the proper settings that allow for split view in settings etc? i seem to have messed up and now my settings are single pane, and my drawer (Nova) is showing enlarged icons with big spaces between them

I am rooted, and I am on the stock pa kernel...I have decided that I will just copy the file and when I update the nightly I will just open the file and cut and paste the contents...I have no other choice it seems
Well even that did not work. Can any one tell me how I can change the permissions of the properties.conf file, every time I try it says its not allowed
You should set tablet ui for settings and some other apps to get the 2 panels effect.
Try 240 dpi and tablet ui on your launcher. Using this with apex, and it looks great
