Currently I am using your inverted dialer no skin and I am really liking it but what I have noticed is the contacts above the keypad still have a white background with black text and greyish divider. Is there a way to change that? Thank you for your hard work on this mod.

thats the dialer I downloaded from the first post of this thread. Ok I found the inverted dialer I used the dialer from the inverted MMS zip but the dialer in the zip that just has the dialer is inverted. Thank you for your help. Would you be willing to make an inverted contacts / people app. also for your inverted MMS would it be possible for you to make a few changes for me, please?

Thank you for posting the contacts apk but I am having an issue with with things displaying correctly. What I have noticed is the contacts names are blacked out and not all the dividers are showing. Just a question when you select a contact is the text supposed to be blue? Also I noticed when you edit a contact that the Group text color is white on a light grey background and kind of hard to read. Other then that I think this is perfect. I was also wondering if you would be able to put white dividers on the MMS apk.

Yeah I was afraid of that. The contacts was never meant to be a stand alone app. It relys on com.htc.resources for the restof the white text. And yes there is blue text. If you want the full effect youneed our resources

ok where do I get your com.htc.resources? I will give it a try. What other changes will the com.htc.resources do?
In contacts? Not sure. Not to many but there important. I would have to look. They usually reference a resource style in the layout xml. That usually pulls the text colour

I can try to move all the references to contacts so it can be a stand alone. I've done that before but not with contacts. It can be a lot of work but if people want this I am willing to do it.

I would love that. JsChiSurf did one for the EVO 4G, and according to him it was a great deal of work to invert contacts and make it a standalone APK. But it was EPIC goodness!
It wouldn't be that hard. The hard part is done. Just need to change the text color and make some fields black and instead of trans. Believe me a lot of time has already been put in. The resources just made easy system wide

i have been working on this project on and off for a few weeks and it is pretty close to being 100%. let me just say it was challenging. i hacked , ripped, changed, deleted and redirected.
to my knowledge this has not been done before.
Mms issues.
the quick settings text is very hard to read.
Dialer issues
landscape in car mode is not sized correctly
this is how this works.
if you just flash the THE DIALER you will have an inverted app. the dialer flashed alone with no modded skin is inverted. to get transparency you will need to install the skin i am posting by jeffsanace.
if you post your favorite skin we will mod it for you.

install the skin as any app from your card. if you are already running the skin boogall blue then switch to another skin and then install. you may have to reboot your phone. this is only for those already running a version of this skin

Anyone use Droid notify from the market? It's a pop up app, it is configurable for pop ups for sms, mms, missed calls and calender events. The dev (Camille Sevingny) has done a great job with it. It also has several themes included for the pop ups. So if anyone is interested, I have themed it lightly to go with our theme. Just install from SD card, if you have the market version uninstall it first.
