As for pointers on how to install:

1.- boot into recovery
2.- wipe everything
3.- install ROM
4.- ???
5.- PROFIT!!

Hi

I was going through the pages and found some links, I wasn't sure which one to use. Is this the correct one? from mediafire .. /jkknbj6kvr4wyhv (I cannot post links)

I also read you need to use a different kernel form DjnoXd. Is there a problem with the kernel that comes with the Lastkiss ROM?

You can use DJNox's 2.5.6 kernel with this ROM but I don't recommend it, the one that comes with the ROM is fine.

And I don't think you can post links for this ROM here, unless hehappy gives you permission, just use the link on the post ABOVE YOURS.

Point 2. Wipe Everything implies Dalvik Cache, Factory reset and cache?

Or should I format system, boot and others too? I am Using Clockworkmod recovery.

Laskiss is great... but there is huge battery drain...
There are two processes that run continuously viz..
1. Google backup transport
2. Settings storage
3. Key chain

Is the above mentioned processes are needed anyway? If not, how to stop them? Plz help me

For 1. stop google backup: settings - backup and reset (don't know if it is called like that. I have another language set) and disable backup of settings to Google.

I froze the app google backup transport..
But i dont know about the other processes like
Keychain
Contact storage
Search application provider
User dictionary
Settings storage.
There is a huge battery drain almost about 70-80 % while in standby due to this processes..
Out of the above,1st, 2nd and 3rd are consuming more than 40 mb of ram each...
Plz help me...

Lets look at them shall me?

Keychain - Not very obvious, but this is for authentication.
Contact storage - Disable this if you DONT use contacts.
Search Application Provider - The key is in the name again, disable this if you dont use search.
User Dictionary - Input anyone?
Settings Storage - Now this is a big one, disable this if you dont want your device to remember any of your settings.

Should update on first post on lastkiss.

Anyone experience a random reboot then cannot simply turn it o without clearing cache first with hephappy cm9?

Google play doesnt show any thumbnails... whenever i click on any app on play store, then in the screenshots box displays "couldn't load screenshots". Now my google play has mo thumbnails...

I'm using last kiss,so I opened link2sd and much to my surprise I was able to mount the ext4 partition without partitioning my sdcard first....I would like to use s2e but every time I download it, I can't select any boxes til I go thru settings than select ext4 mounting...which would y'all recommend for a2sd?

    Usb mass storage solved!

    Finally I did it after couple of hours. It's problem of MTP USB windows drivers. After checking 'Mass storage' in phone, installing new 3.7.2 drivers, updating SDK to new version then you have to go to folder Windows/inf/ and delete this files wpdmtp.inf and wpdmtp.PNF but backup it FIRST!!.

    After this procedure u will have full working USB Mass Storage :D

    What works:
    - Full H/W acceleration with new adreno drivers, 3D (yamato)
    - Funny SIM (128k USIMs)
    - Calls, SMS, MMS, 3G/2G, Mobile data
    - Wireless, Bluetooth, Bluetooth tethering
    - Data limit, IPv4, IPv6
    - Stereo audio, headset
    - GPS, Sensors, Lights, Touch screen
    - Usb Mass storage, Usb debugging
    - Browser, GMail, GPlay

    What doesn't work:
    - Wifi tethering & USB tethering, Offline charging: needs usb driver update from 3.0 kernel
    - FM Radio: not implemented in CM yet
    - Camera: needs OpenMaX(omx) libraries for armv6 and kernel update

    Releases are usefull for daily usage.
    It is almost stable, so it is called prerelease.

    Installation

    Hold down VOL DOWN + HOME + POWER keys to enter recovery (AmonRA or CMW)
    Make a nandroid back up
    Make full wipe (except wipe sd) for the first time installation
    Flash from ZIP: Select ROM and reboot
    Flash GAPPS and reboot
    Have fun!

    HOW TO SEND BUG REPORTS

    Hold down VOL_DOWN + MENU keys for 2 seconds, release when vibrated.
    Wait 20-30 seconds, it will vibrate again.
    Send me: /sdcard/bugreports/bugreport.txt
