This is a very sensitive program in regard to hardware and kernel. Not a common android app, so you have to check "WHAT DEVICES" are available. Fully customed roms are suited own dev's taste. It breaks the stock hardware driver rules, so this won't work on CM, MIUI, AOxP if they don't use the stock kernel .... I've been test this, it works for most games going smooth ..

Anyone tried this yet?

Does it work ok, is there much difference in performance?

What ROM are you on?

I am using the Something rom uk 8010 JB

Cheers

Tried it for couple of days so far. Running stable on 1.6 GHz. Quadrant score on this clock frequency is 6779, while on 1.4 GHz it is 6108. I also noticed that my Note is faster. I'm running stock JB v4.1.2 ROM.

Runnig it for days on 1.65 GHz and runs fine and stable, Quadrant score over 7100. Going one step further to 1.7 GHz makes the device instable resulting in spontaneous reboots. I usedTegrak Overclock Ultimate v1.9.11.

Can you guys post your voltage settings (or maybe profile files?) for freqs 1,6+ ???
I can run 1.6 stable at 1375mv.
Max freq which seems to be stable for me is ca. 1630mhz but it requires much higher voltage (above 1400mv).
Every setting abbove 1.63 finishes with a freeze or boot within seconds.
I think my individual device dont like overclocking... but i wanted to confirm this.
Contrary, my n7100 works stable when OCed to 2.0 (from stock 1.6) using voltages provided out of the box in custom kernels.
So im wondering what can i do to make something similiar with n8000.
Also, uv schemes may be useful.
Thanks.

I am running 1700mhz stable at 1,5V.
AnTuTu Benchmark shows 18862

200mhz state running stable at 800mV.
