wrong device, you'll want to check out the galaxy nexus thread, not the fascinate one. ask in the jb kernel thread too, if something changed after installing a kernel then it is most likely something the kernel dev needs to be informed of. or just use a different kernel, I recommend leankernel with the added tweaks.

Just wanted to mention that excessive battery drain is an issue with Linaro builds.....also, Netflix and Mxplayer won't work....gives an error about unsupported device or corrupt files....
Not sure if AOKP is going to use Linaro in their next build, but something to keep in mind....been using Linaro built rom on my Kindle Fire and have had many users have same issues.....devs over there seem to be figuring things out..

First - I have the in-call volume boost option and I didn't push it there - so I guess it was rolled in at some point?
Second - I know about the unlimited data but I don't have an upgrade till July (my wife burned mine to get her iPhone - I wonder what the percentage of guys here at XDA have wives or girlfriends with iPhone... ).
I suppose if I were desperate I could pick up a cheap used Charge to switch to unlimited LTE. I don't have much cash to throw around atm. @@
I just don't see VZW honoring unlimited LTE forever - at some point they will dump it and so you'll have an option to break clean from your contract, but they reserved the right to continue being collosal dicks and take their ball and go home at any time.

The experience with Linaro on your fire can be entirely different than any other devices. It is also not entirely ready to be merged anyway. I haven't had any video playback issues on my Note or Captivate though.
Hey folks. So I finally nailed down the *228 fix, and it will hopefully be showing up in the next build (that's going to be up to the reviewers, etc). I managed to get it so that the dialpad shows up in the first place and stays around if the screen shuts off during the update process for any reason.
I have not solved the minor issue of the screen telling you the programming was not successful when it actually was. I believe that's a Samsung modem software issue, so there's nothing I can do about it in the ROM. The modem is never telling the ROM that it successfully programmed the phone. Without that, the ROM can't just assume. The work-around: listen to what the lady says on the phone instead, and just exit out of the Fail / Retry screen that comes up when the call disconnects.
I realize that not many ppl care about this bug, but I wanted to fix it for a few reasons: *22899 never worked for me, I like to keep my PRL updated on the off chance that it will improve coverage for me at my office, and it should just frikkin work right, dammit, I shouldn't have to fart around with work-arounds!
Anyway .. on to bigger and better things.

Heh, well, that as actually another part of the problem. I found all sorts of conflicting information on the internets about that .. and apparently Big Red changes it occasionally without telling anyone, too. Another reason I wanted it to be *228, listen, press 2.

Well, it's still a valid fix, lol. Plus I learned a lot about the phone app. Never know when that might come in handy.

80Do to the total disregard for the flashing instructions and some individuals trying to find answers without attempting to find it themselves first. I have come up with a list of things I except to see before I will even acknowledge a question from here on out.
If you have a Question try these first.
1) You must me on the most recent Devil up build. Questions about AOKP Official builds or older Glitched builds should be referred to the most recent Devil up build first. Verify you are on the right ROM having people complain about having a mesmerize on the Verizon network or not getting data/mms because they flashed a Fascinate ROM is ridiculous. If you don't even know what device your on you shouldn't be flashing custom ROMs.
2) You should try a redownload of the ROM and Gapps, a wipe of data, dalvik, and cache, a flash and a test of the problem before restoring apps or data. That includes the back this phone up option in the gaps installer. Don't check it that until you test your issue.
3) If you problem is with a single app delete it and redownload it from Google play.
4) Read the OP and the last 10 pages of the thread completely, if your answer is there your question will be ignored. It will take you just as long to read those pages as it will for me to find it and copy it or re type it.
5) Believe me when I say I take a lot of pride in this ROM. We use this ROM everyday. We test every feature before it's released. If you say you are having an issue and we tell you it's not the ROM…. It's you if you try and argue that your posts will be ignored.

Both kernels are interchangable so find which rom/kernel combo works for you and sit tight while we wait/work on Jelly Bean.36We had a meeting last night. Ok so here is the plan. Milestone6 will be aokp's last ics build. We start on jelly bean after the source drops. Milestone6 will come with 2 options the official non linaro build for those with issues, and I will put out a linaro build for those who want it. I will include the latest devil kernel, and from here until jelly bean look too the devil for kernel updates. He had assured me he will be making devil kernels for jb. No etas, we are waiting for the source drop.
