Witch frequency Canada uses? Brazil is quadriband 850/900/1800/2100.

But you can use Androidiani OR to change it, or flash a SBF radio file of your operator frequency.

Still not possible this rom is based on Brazilian original languages (PT-BR, EN, ES), but Edgar (one of the rom Dev Team) is already working in a multi language version (also including Worldwide APNs)

Try to charge your battery fully, then remove battery for 1m, plug it again, charge it again over 100%.

Then flash everything.

Don't forget, wipe everything before and after flash.

Will try the thing with the battery. But I always restore all my stuff with MyBackup Pro so the issue with freezez can come from something in there. But I have to. Don't want to restart my progress in angry birds ;-)

probably your backup is copying some roms proprietary files, so this backup will only work with this rom.


hehe i loose 10 time my angry birds stages =(

i know everything is switching over to Gingerbread. i just wanted to say i figured out my issue. i guess its kind of a noob mistake but my 3g radio files were fine. i just had no APN set up. heh. manually set one up and now i've got 3g no problem.

Also a great rom. very snappy and smooth. i now run it as my daily. (i'm coming from FroyoMod) i got like 1250 something for quadrant. how on earth did you hit 16 something?

LOL 1200mhz@80vsel, and battery is still pretty decent!

And i run this test already with some apps installed, so less memory available.

Thanks for the theme! Just an FYI, there is cronos boot animation still in the framework-res assets folder.

Thanks for pointing that out. I may have overlooked that. Sorry.

You can easily change that by replacing the android-logo-mask.png from the assets folder in the framework-res.apk. Just take the png file from the stock rom and put it into the theme.

Great ROM, i'd love to use this as my daily one! Does the market fix have to be a 'rar' file? my computer doesnt like those, so couldnt you or anyone else here post it as a zip file for me to flash? thanks :) keep the updates coming!

This Rom is dead.
I'd advice anyone who was using shadowmod to move over to CM7.

    Hey, just a quickie...

    The only reason the ROM is marked as "BR" is because it uses the baseband, apns and some other configs for the Brazilian region. I will create an International version (including all languages and full apnlist) to make it easier to everybody, now that's its out in the wild. :D

All credit goes to Edgard Castro, but I found it very fast (especially the super smooth multitouch in the browser) and wanted to let everyone know about it; its definitely snappier than the leaked roms. Its a 2.2.2 aosp rom and everything is pretty much stock android. Here's the website (its in Portuguese):

    * Updated to release Android-2.2.2_r1.
    * New owners kernel and modules (wifi, radio, etc.).

    Choose the governor you want and apply update in Androidiani.

    Themes: Download theme pack from here: http://shadowmodbr.googlecode.com/files/smbr-0.9.16-Blackbar-pack.rar and flash the one you want (screenshots are inside the .rar; I found these themes to be quite glitchy)

    **Instead of using the theme pack, I suggest using the gingerbread theme Sileshn has made for the rom. Download and flash the one with the animation you want:

    Note: This method also works for cyanogenmod 0.07 users whose new market is not working.
