PLEASE NOTE: Currently only for the KindleFire2 (I may attempt builds for other Amazon devices if I ever get really brave)

Here is the rom for the Nexus 7 for some background information

Install:
Wipe caches
Wipe system
Factory reset
Install ROM
Install GAPPS
*First boot or boots (took 2 on latest build) may hang just keep restarting until it takes still looking into why this happens

Download:
*Current release May 14, 2013
Kernel change/update (looks as if the 1st time boot issue was resolved with this kernel)

Apr 25, 2013
Synced sources and rebuilt a few minor "under the hood" changes

I'm sorry I'm not familiar with a sound lag with this or CM 10

There's been one in cm10 for the kf2 since the original release. Only fix we have is to pause it.. Which makes the lag go away for a bit.

For some reason I can't get this ROM to boot so I can't answer the original question.

Edit: to be more clear- lag is only on video

I've been using the cm releases for the last 2 months before switching to this Rom, and the audio/video lag has been intermittent at worst. For me it's only been an issue maybe 20% of the time, and with VLC you can correct the lag manually.

Sorry I have not been active with this, my family and I are in the process of moving so between looking at houses and preparing are current house and packing this got pushed off to the side...

Good news is there is a new build tried a different kernel and it seems that the initial boot issue has gone. Wiped and installed twice on my Kindle and both time 1st boot went through.

Let me know if there are any issues (it may take some time but I will try and get to them)
