Hello.
I currently live in Japan, and plan to buy a new LTE phone here. Probably Note 3 from either AU or Docomo providers.

The problem is that all major providers in Japan now have ONLY LTE options for new phones. And those options are tricky: the traffic amount is limited to 7 gigabytes. After that, speed drops down to poor 128 kbps. Unbelievable. That's Japanese progress and high speeds.

I wonder if there might be any way to trick the operator so that the traffic is not counted on my phone. Having root, maybe, preventing some app from accessing network will do the trick? Or something else, restrict something, or freeze/uninstall?

Any ideas?
Thanks!
