i just got a note 3 N900T being used on t-mobile. i currently have the unlimited 4G LTE plan without tethering but have been tethering just fine on my rooted old HTC phone. i've read through a lot of the rooting threads here, but i'm not quite sure if it's possible to root this phone without setting off the knox counter, as it's already on kitkat 4.4.2 NB4. is there a way to downgrade to jellybean and root? how do i get the t-mobile tethering crap off and activate the native tethering capabilities?
i have a note 10.1 tablet but this is my first samsung phone - always used HTC before. sorry if there's already a post about this, there's too many different models and carriers.
