Re: [ROM][SGH-I317 / t0lte][JB][4.2.1] CyanogenMod 10.1 official nightlies

Anyone know why my android os is so high?

Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda app-developers app

I'm trying to figure this out myself. I think auto rotate and WiFi have a lot to do with it. The build.prop has a WiFi interval scan of 15. It should be 120 or even 150 maybe.

Could the devolper, look at fixing the Wifi, for like connecting to 5Ghz, i have a Apple Router, and i have 2.4Ghz, and 5Ghz.
i like to use 5Ghz, but i cant connect to it on this rom, only the basic 2.4. let me know thanks.

and also what was the Nighly update ?
i just flashed the one from 2-19 last night, anything special or should i stay on what i have now, thanks guys!

I'm connected at work and home on a 5 GHz wifi AP without an issue.

yes, the screeny is for a 5GHz network and I'm getting 150Mbps reported correctly

Its probably because you have an apple router and its confuses as most apple products are of the sheer awesomeness of android so it can not function with it.

Hard to say why devs did that. In my mind CM is for advanced users anyways, so why to hide developer menu? Same thing with extended menu, it took me a while to figure out where I should turn it on.

But anyways, that's not biggie

Re: [ROM][SGH-I317 / t0lte][JB][4.2.1] CyanogenMod 10.1 official nightlies

Hi all,

I'm having a great experience with CM10.1 so far. One issue I found is that, after using a Bluetooth device for phone audio, when I disconnect the device I lose all audio on the phone (notifications, clicks when tapping icons or typing, etc.). To fix this I have to make another call using the speaker; then sound comes back. Is anybody having this issue?

I'm seeing that as well on the nightly for the 21st. Didn't realize another call would fix it, I've been rebooting. :)

Should i Update To the latest Nightlie Build?
Thanks.

The latest build available is from 130221 and it does not yet include a fix. However, the next nightly *will* have the fix---see the changelog. Yay!

At this point, my only issue---and it's NOT a CM issue, but an upstream JB4.2 issue---is that you can't tell the camera to save pictures on the external SD card. For now I'm using Camera JB+ from the Market; it's not as pretty as the JB4.2 camera (more like the 4.1 camera), but it does allow you to save to ExtSD.

Try this http://db.tt/e6y8k5nJ I just replace my Gallery2.apk in system with this and it's like the 4.2 but with the option. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why Google didn't build this in and then I realized that the Nexus line doesn't have sdcards.....there's no need for it in the base.

Is it possible to get the Samsung camera installed on this so I can get my 240fps recording back?

I downloaded a zip but it doesn't seem to do anything when I flash it.

Still just have the normal chappy 4.2 camera

It won't work because Samsung camera requires touchwiz framework.

Thanks TechJeep. Before I mess with my phone, where is this APK from? I found out that the Rootbox JB4.2 rom does support saving to ExtSD in their default camera, so maybe it's from there. In this case, it would be great if the CM devs were to merge this upstream.

I'm not really sure because I don't use the camera very often and of I do it's just for picture taking. U might want to check out camera ICS and camera ICS+ from the play store though...

This is from an AOKP ROM, but I may get Root box just to try the camera.

Go to the carbon devs goo page. They have a link to an aosp camera that let's you save to SD, and a couple other cool features. I use it and have never had an issue. Hope this helps.

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.2 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Great friggin' news:

Yep, we did it again! Our opensource audio HAL seems to work almost fine.
Incall earpiece, speaker, mic and bluetooth are working. A2dp works also.
Since Google Now works properly i assume the Camcorder will be fine, too.
    Headset is working as well.

    Known bugs:
    - mic mute broken during calls

Thanks, I just installed ForceKernel (OC TO 1,920Mhz) and then run some benchmarks and it's much slower than Perseus, I used to get in Perseus around 7,500 in Quadrant and now I get around 4,500 to 5,500, am I doing something wrong ?

NOTE: I am using SetCPU and the Governor is "pegasusq"

world is going to end because your ePenis has narrowed because of less score?
    that's damn hard.
