Is there any way I'd be able to do this without accessing BIOS, because I installed a new graphics card on my computer, and ever since, I can't get into BIOS.

It just skips over the loadup screen and goes straight to windows while it's turning on. I suppose I could actually plug it into the onboard, then boot it up from there, although whenever I do that I have to remove my graphics card or else it won't work. Ugh, any simpler solutions?

Thanks! I had been using this thread which appears to be out of date twice over. I assume the recovery link in that thread is also out of date. Care to point me in the right direction?

Lots of options for custom recovery. Here's the current / up-to-date options I'm aware of. I've been using twrp 2.6.3.x beta for a while with no problems. Looks like the others are working well too. I believe they all work with 4.4 ROMS too.

So, how will I know it was successful?

I got the "WTF: What are you doing" message to, and terminal went to prompt.

    Restarting now

That is an adb connection issue.

Debugging needs to be enabled and lockscreen security must be OFF. Also, usb 2 ports are more reliable.

Hello, can you please help me, I just installed Ubuntu, dual boot, booted into ubuntu, downloaded form moonshine, now how can can I execute "distiller", please help i am fighting with it from last 3 hours. Please

Press the Ubuntu icon in the top left, type "Terminal", press enter.

    Code:
    cd ~/Downloads
    sudo ./distiller

Type in your password (it won't show anything as you're typing, that's normal). Press enter and let Moonshine do its job.

If you follow that link on the moonshine.io page, it is pretty straight forward.

You have to download the package, and extract it by executing this code in that Terminal app. Here's an easy way to do it. Download the file, then navigate to the folder where it was saved. Right-click that window, and select Open in Terminal. That will open the terminal in that folder. Next, extract by:

    tar -zxf moonshine_<device>_<version>.tgz

(Actually, if that is the only file you've downloaded, just run this command)

    tar -zxf moon*.tgz

Now, since you are still in the folder, star the show by typing:

    sudo ./distiller

If you do not see the disclaimer and a Yes|No prompt, reply back, but you should be good.
