Download

How to flash a repacked kernel

1) Download modules and boot.img (the boot.img can also into module.zip
2) Copy the boot.img into your fastboot folder
3) Copy modules into sd card of your hox
4) Reboot into recovery
5) Wipe dalvik+cache
6) Flash modules
7) Don't reboot into android! Go back in recovery home
8) Type: "adb reboot bootloader"
9) Make an erase cache: "fastboot erase cache"
10) Flash kernel: "fastboot flash boot "name_of_boot.img"
11) Make an erase cache: "fastboot erase cache"
12) Reboot into android with: "fastboot reboot"

I've posted the following question in SKYDRAGON's thread, but sadly no one answer. May be you can help me out here. Thanks in advance. I am now using SKYDRAGON V4.

Hey guys need your advice. I flash the XM kernel sometime ago, and I do have the /storage/sdcard0 directory which seems containing the same data of my sdcard, but now I flash NCX kernel. Can I just delete that directory in order to move out some more space ? Thanks for advice.

I did move files and folder, aslo kalimpula1 and no problems, but but but... Just in case backup SdCard to pc... U know nothing is perfect

Btw, i got no duplicated files, just new folders and files went to 0 folder. Size still the same

Guys, sorry for being noobish, but I just have to flash one of these boot.img via fastboot instead of the one inside the .zip of the rom ?

If you prefer using one of these, yep!

Don't forget to flash the modules!

Yes, please. Fresh install. With the rom in ur PC, using 7zip or winrar, put boot.img in to Fastboot folder and you must check that boot.img still in tom zip. Never extract it.
Then place rom zip into sdcard of phone.
Put hox into fastboot mode
Plug it to pc.
Using CMD in windows type "fastboot erase cache" enter, then "fastboot flash boot boot.img" enter.
Unplug hox, press Power, select Recovery.
Install rom as you did with others, follow aroma instructions, tick Full wipe, follow instructions in aroma again and reboot.
Set up phone as usually.
Once again for repack kernels you need to flash boot.img repacked via cmd commands from PC and also kernel modules from recovery

you flash kernels bootimg. then with recovery flash rom, without rebootin at the end, flash kernel.zip from recovery, then reboot
