A noob question...I have Hboot .97. Is it safe to downgrade to 0.76 ENG boot? (I am on latest version Radio and 3.70 Custom Sense Rom ) Are there any compatibility issue with the new 3.70 roms?
Thanks for helping me guys..

NV version is the same as PRI.
WiMax version you can get by opening a terminal (either via "adb shell" or run a terminal emulator directly on your phone):

$ su
# wimax_mtd

There will be a whole mess of lines. Scroll up and find this line:

Check Firwmare Version (4.6.2.3v27167_) ........ 4.6.2.3v27167_

The bolded part is your WiMax version.

unless the ROM states it includes the radios, you have to update them

Hello,
Not sure if this is the correct thread for this, but my question is about radios...specifically wimax. This is the best place I could think to start.

If you turn on wimax, then shut it off, the phone continues to search for a wimax signal until you reset the phone. This can be observed using a logging program such as aLogCat. Im not sure if this is a problem with the kernel or the radios themselves.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue? Maybe then it can be directed towards the proper channels.

Just wanted to throw into the mix that the newest hboots CAN be downgraded now that there is a hex-edited 2.10 that will trick the phone into thinking it has 0.76

I think that file should be found and flashing instructions merged here as it works for all evo's without the new camera chip (aka not 004 or very late produced 003's)
