Hi!

I have an unlocked, rooted Motorola SPICE XT300 from CHINA. It doesn't have Android Market on it (Market is banned in China for some reason?) so I was told that I need to flash my phone with the Canadian Mobilicity firmware since it comes with Market.

If I understand correctly, I need an update.zip file from someone's Mobilicity SPICE XT300. Then I would need to save the update.zip to my SD card and load it from the Recovery Boot option.

Is this right? If so, could someone please post an update.zip for Mobilicity?

Yes, there is an update.zip for the XT300.

This link renesp.com.br/files/diversos/xt300/rsp_images. tar .bz2 points to a file with boot.img, recovery.img and system.img from a Spice XT300 from Brazil (firmware SESLA_U3_01.72.0). The complete tutorial that shows how to generate the system.img is here renesp.com.br/diversos/13-spice-xt300-motorola-android-recovery-recuperacao-fastboot-systemimg (it was written in portuguese by me...)

Update: Actually the system.img it's for SESLA_U3_01.44.4.
