Yesterday, after a night out and lots of drinks, I dropped my phone on the tile floor of the bathroom and the battery fell out. When I turned it on again, everything seemed to work. However, after I entered my PIN, the phone said "Unlocking SIM-Card" for about 5 minutes. When the message disappeared, there was a "SIM Error" icon in the status bar and the phone didn't seem to be able to read the SIM.
Tried several reboots, took out the SIM and put it in again, I even wiped and reflashed my ROM, but it just doesn't seem to work..
Now, could it be that the SIM module is somehow damaged? If so, is there an easy way to fix it or do I have to send it in?
never mind, I figured it had to do with my SIM card being corrupt
