i have temp root, and want to change the boot animation to the one where droid is a robot being built and then zaps apple.....but cant find where the original bootanimation is stored so I can replace it.Maybe there is an app that can do it?????

I haven't changed the bootanimation on this device yet but if you are looking for the file, its in system>customize>resource. I usually change it out with root explorer.

ok...what I did was changed the name of the stock bootanimation to and named my new one so it would yake precedence, but on restart, it goes back to the pink tmobile this cause temp root defaults back to stock seetings?....couldn't get it to work....hmmmmm

When you reboot, everything in the system partition gets overwritten (correct me if im wrong) so placing a new bootanimation will result in it just getting over run. Thats also why root doesnt stick. Until s-off is released thats the way its going to be

Well thats a but thanks for the help anyway.....cant stand looking at the pink t-mobile splash......
