Made a little boot animation with sound from an old starting hard disk! Flash it with CWM and have fun! :D
If you want to use it for your own ROM Release, feel free to use it but give me credits for it! :)

Thx to CoDdis @ Android-Hilfe.de for making an usable CWM package!

How to for Speedmod: (need to be root!!!)
1: make a nandroid backup (just to be on the safe side)
2: install the CWM file through ClockWorkMod (=CWM ;))
3: copy my bootanimation.zip in /system/media, make two clones and rename the cloned files to ODEAnim.zip and sanim.zip
4: go to /system/bin, backup and delete the file samsungani
5: rename the file bootanimation in /system/bin to samsungani

Reboot and be happy.
Thanks @pedrolopes665 for this hint.

EDIT:
Thanks to @djase and @alil for making it 2.3.5 matchable! :D
djase (was the first)
alil (was the second)

EDIT2:
Reworked it by myself for Android 2.3.5! Hope you enjoy it and still thanks to the editors of the other two versions who came first with them! :)

EDIT3:
Now with all Android version numbers starting from 2.3.3 to 4.0.4. Enjoy it. :)

Hi,

This caused a few problems with my setup and gave me a long black screen before eventually booting. I had already put a custom boot image for my first loading screen which I think is what is causing the conflict. I overwrote bootanimation.zip in system/media with another custom image to get everything working correctly again, but I still have the booting sound from your zip. How do I remove that sound? Is there a wav file or something somewhere that I can delete? Let me know please.

Thanks

*EDIT* Not to worry, I found it in etc/poweron.wav

Superb bootanimation. I feel I'll keep rebooting to show it off. :D
Loved the part "Press VOLUP and HOME to enter SETUP".
Why don't you put the final images of the two screens in the OP?

Thanks man. Boot animation is awesome!
    Witch font you use?

I used Sans font. I have only changed number from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 (see my edited previous post) cause it was the most similar font to the one from the bootanimation from the fonts that i have in GIMP ;)

    EDIT:

I attached 10fps version (the whole animation is slower so you can see the first screen longer). Oryginaly it`s 30fps.

If you want to manualy edit the speed (fps) edit "10" in desc.txt in bootanimation zip file:

    3
    2.3.5

hello, im sorry if im edited from the OP's file..

im doing it just for fun..

edit the version from 2.3.4 to 2.3.5 (only the text of boot amination)..
the rest u still the kernel that support bootanimation.zip. otherwise it will not work..

Well, until I fixed the problem with those CWM packages (man, do I hate this s**t :p) you can etxract them and move the bootanimation.zip manually to /system/media. Reboot and be impressed with a "broken system". :D

    Oh.. Like that!

Ok.. to be clear this is just the bootanimation.zip file, it's not a CWM flashable zip! :good:

Also, I did 2 parts of stuff all work!
    Thanks to: :highfive:

After all I took the 4.0.4 bootanimation from animelover and changed the text to 4.1.1 and that's all!

Also thanks to despotovski01 for the boot animation tool that put it all together!! :highfive:

It works great on my SGS II I9100T running Resurrection Remix 3.0.5, your luck may vary!
