If you have Nova, Relax or any other /data EXT4 ROM and if you go back to stock firmware (flash KDZ), you may run into a problem since /data partition won't be wiped and stays EXT4 while stock ROM works on EXT3; so, you'll get:
  • Error of insufficient storage when installing an application or
  • Internal memory will be displayed as 0 or
  • You simply can't install applications

The fix is easy.

Method 1

As you know, if you reboot to recovery on stock ROM you'll do a factory reset. So, we'll use this to format again your /data partition to EXT3 and everything will be fine.

But how will you reboot to recovery without being able to install AnReboot or Terminal? Well, you use this:

Download this, run goto_recovery.bat if you're on windows or goto_recovery.sh if you're on linux and voilá, problem fixed. You'll need to connect your Black to your PC and enable "USB Debugging" on Settings > Applications > Development.

Method 2

Go to Hidden Menu (write on dialer: 3845#*970#) and do a factory reset.

Method 3

Go to Settings > Privacy and do a factory reset.

I had this problem. It said I have 0.00B free space. Didn't know what to do, even reflashed ROM (10b), it didn't help. So went in to hidden service menu and did factory reset. It worked.
