I got my quantum on the rtm mango build yesterday or 2 days ago, and the first day it was great, but then next morning, i saw the phone was on critically low battery, and I dont really use it that much, and after charging, after about 2 or 3 hours of light use, I looked and saw it was back on low battery! and the phone performance is sluggish, so I really just want to restore back to my nodo version, I have the backup folder and everything, but am not sure of what to do with it. Help plz?

To answer your question, following this guide will put you back to stock, which you can update back to nodo.
