I've seen several 3500mAh battery brands discussed here, but I can't help but wondering whether they are all cut from the same loaf of bread, so to speak.
My experience with batteries for cameras and other devices with proprietary DC designs is that the knock-offs often are built on the same manufacturing lines as the brand-name batteries. The only difference, then, is the silk screen markings that identify them as Samsung or Olympus or Canon or whomever.
If anyone has any insight in this particular instance, I'd love to hear. For what it's worth, I bought the battery that hs1333a pointed to on eBay. It is one of the cheapest mentioned in this section, if not the cheapest. I've been very happy with it.
