If you have the S5 Neo and Android 8.x then call recording should work for you. I am not familiar with Lineage OS so not sure if that has anything to do with it not working(check in Lineage forums to see if there is any special setting to enable call recording) but Google has been trying to block recording since Android 8 from what I recall. The system recorder CSC will not be useful here since that is provided by Samsung and they haven't updated this phone since Android 5 I believe.

FYI, after clean flashing a new ROM on my OnePlus 5 and installing CallRecorder via Magisk, I was prompted by the Play Store to "upgrade" to the lite version. I uninstalled that version then downloaded and installed the version listed in Post #1 of this thread. No more Play Store prompts to "upgrade".

For Samsung phones with Snapdragon processor and Android 10 without root there's no way you can record calls with Bluetooth headset since it requires speakerphone and mic to record calls.

Can confirm S9+ Snapdragon (AT&T, with Pie) works on 3.3.3 when not using Bluetooth. AFAIK, there's no root for this set up

It's not ideal for me, but at least that works.

That is so weird. After Google made recording so difficult, if not impossible, they do it themselves? Unless they're betting on restricting it by country or something?

One feature I would really enjoy would be the ability to control recordings from the notification so the overlay can be disabled. This app is one of my favorites by far.

Edit: Oh ****. I just expanded the notification and noticed that you can start a recording without the overlay. I'm here to put my foot firmly in my mouth.

I wanted to know about app's future..
Because if I make purchase today and then after some month Google introduces call recording feature then app will be of no use?
Need answer for this, as you used app for years so you can explain it better.
And also I found that after some time, may be years, developer stops developing that app (mostly individually operated developer). What about this developer?
Sorry but these questions are as a customer perspective before buying this app, @ developer please don't take it as rude or harsh comment.
Thank you.
