I've been on all day and so far battery life looks great (I flashed slim version and restored my apps via Titanium). I love the animations and speed. Will test GPS tomorrow in New Jersey. Kenny, we Epicureans owe you a huge debt (and a steak at Hyde Park in Oceanwalk). Keep 'em coming!

Aww. I believe my phone officially doesn't like the people's rom. Is it possible to have a bad zip file even if the MD5 matches? I dont think so... Something is definitely awry. This time I did a complete wipe, then flash... and.... same result. I get to the samsung splash screen, and that puppy just stops. I feel confident that this is more an indictment of my phone than this ROM.... since I don't see anyone else with this sort of nonsense. Maybe I'll try to redownload it again...

Anyone else on the BML version? Am I the last person in America still on BML?

Wifes phone/epic still is....I just flashed the stock prerooted fc09 yesterday...try that and see if you can recover....just a suggestion

I could try to do a two step thing... flash some other (like the fc09) rom first... seems odd that it would be an interaction coming from my EL30 SleeperRom, but who knows? I would have thought that doing a full wipe first would have taken care of it...

In any event, I am a nandroiding-fool right now.:rolleyes:

Odds are that if you are on sleeper rom, you might be MTD? Are you sure you are BML?

Definitely sounds like you might be trying to flash bml onto mtd. As for how many are still on bml, dev-host reports 90 d/ls of mtd vs. 11 of bml about 2 hours ago.

Yes, I am the last person alive on bml. At least it feels that way. I was going to bite the MTD bullet for this ROM, but Kenny was awesome enough to release both versions for v2! And...in the words of Bill Murray from Stripes..."and then depression set in."

Are you SURE you were on Sleeper BML? I thought it automatically converted you to MTD during the flash.

Are you restoring anything? Are you running bml or mtd? If BML then you might try changing to Samurai kernel here:

If MTD I think you have to go to Earthbound's website to get that kernel.
Does the FC09 deodexed run ok on your phone?

Sorry family been at work all day, stopping thru ta say this Rom is the **** KG. Running V6 script, 3G turbo and KAK with no problems at all! Had a couple apps fc but that's cause I restored data...fixed permissions uninstalled and reinstalled cleared that up instantly. Tex I gotta live wallpaper I'm using as my clock and I didn't have to dl anything but the app. Tried switching up kernels didn't work out for me tho so I'm sticking with stock for now. OC'd to 1200 UV a little bit battery life is beautiful! KG I gotta say it again man this is a beast of a Rom you gotta bright future in Developing ahead my friends keep up the GREAT work!

Edit: Ta everybody having problems I recommend starting fresh completely fresh....I mean I didn't go that route and I'm running fast, smooth & stable so a fresh install should do the trick. By fresh I mean Odin.

    What is improved in 2.21? Big thanks to Ca1ne for getting the rest of the toggles working in the 15 (that's right 15!) quickpanel toggle mod AND for adding swipe away notifications to TPR!

    Don't forget to flash the FC19 bloat files for all stock apps!

    Thanks to Darkierawr for the push-pull!
    He pulled the FC19 system and pushed me to release it..LOL. I will post the odexed stock versions he sent me in another thread this weekend.

    It is highly recommended to flash this from V2.0 because something wierd happens on 20% of the flashes, the home key doesn't work without this fix.

    The first thing noticeable is the Sprint Connectons Optimizer is removed by Samsung.
    I themed this with the lessbluebox version, changed the bootani, changed the wallpaper, put in all the mods we all love, added the silent camera without the low battery shutoff and Gtalk with video.
    All the stock apps (bloat) have been pulled and put into a flashable.
    This has everything else that 2.0 has with the same thanks to all those Devs.

    You MUST wipe cache and Dalvik or bad things happen (drove me crazy).
    The BML issues are fixed, Boot to recovery works and bootanimation can be seen.

    For anyone with battery issues please change i/o scheduler to anything besides cfq. Cfq does sleep but not as well as the other governors do on some phones. You also might want to wipe your battery stats with cwm (I know it has been stated this is a bad thing to do, but it has cured battery issues for me) and also pinpoint what is eating your battery up... I have been running the bml version on my epic for 6 hours and it has only dropped 9% with minimal use.
