Easy way IMO

If you want to push the TWRP recovery by Terminal emulator which is really fast and sure, its:
Code:
su
dd if=/sdcard/twrp.blob of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4
exit

Is it not possible to mount the tab or sdcard so you can transfer files from PC?

Try it out, you'll be surprised how easy and fast it is.

Just tried this and I think it worked, is there a way to tell if it did?

Reboot to recovery and you should see the new version 2.4.2.0 right where the clock is at the top of the screen. Also when you rebooted you should have seen the blue progress bar flash real fast. Just boot into recovery and check your version.

last three version to include this version of TWRP.. have damaged my external SD Card upon reboot after i installed a ROM.. (if i move the rom zip file into internal SD card it seems to work fine)

Restoring took an unusual long time. For now Im going back to clockwork mod, though wish twrp was more stable on tablet as it seems to work fine on my S2.

Unable to mount External SD
Hi, first let me say thanks for everything you guys do, the latest release disable the external SD card, the option is there but it does not stay checked when you select it.
