Hi, I do not take credit in any of this. Its just that when I follow the steps to S-Off my evo 3d, I got very confused with the guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1743466
Until I finally did S-Off with my phone. So I decided to slightly rearrange the guide (steps I took to S-Off my phone) and post it.

1) Unlock bootloader from htcdev

Follow this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1248231

2) Download Leedroid GB ROM from:

http://leedroid.ftp.rshost.eu/Shoote...4-Final-GB.zip

Install Leedroid GB ROM in recovery. After install, your phone will keep auto off. Dont panic, its ok.

3) Enter Bootloader mode and go to fastboot usb

4) Download http://unlimited.io/content/files/Co...r_u_GB_WIN.zip

5) Extract the zip file to any empty folder

6) Copy adb, fastboot and AdbWinApi.dll to were you extracted the zip file

7) Open command prompt. START -> RUN -> CMD

Go to the folder where you extract the zip file in your command prompt.
Type:

fastboot flash boot jb_boot.img
fastboot reboot

Make sure to uninstall htc sync and battery to be at least 75%

9) After the phone restarts you will see a screen called JupunutBear

10) Run controlbear.exe as administrator

11) You will see something like this: Segmentation fault /system/bin/su -...
But will most likely FAILED!

12) Reboot phone into Bootloader mode and enter fastboot usb mode

13) Install su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip

14) Reboot

15) Run controlbear.exe as administrator

16) You will still see this error No Juopunutbear boot image found
17) Type:

adb push jb_boot.img /data/local/tmp/

18) Run again controlbear.exe as administrator. There wont be anymore errors.

19) Follow instruction until it asked to do the Wire Trick.

Go here for the guide:

http://unlimited.io/juopunutbear-pub...gsm-shooter_u/

If you see error code 66732337 then your Wire Trick timing is incorrect, re open controlbear.exe as administrator and try again
Once you did the wire trick correctly it will ask you if you want to install Juopunutbear HBoot
Type y for yes and enter.

Your Evo 3D is now S-Off with Hboot 1.49.9999

Yes. According to original post, its at # 5 (5_extract the zip file and follow the instructions http://unlimited.io/juopunutbear-pub...gsm-shooter_u/).
I see alot of ppl get stuck there because they thought that the wire trick needed to be done at # 5 which is not but the guide is slightly "misleading".

If you kept trying the wire trick at #5, theres a chance the phone turned unbootable. It happens to me. So Im just trying to indicate some precautions to others.

Yes, one end into the hole of the left and the other end on to the simcard plate. Controlbear.exe will tell you whether if your timing on wire trick is correct. Its not that hard actually.

I really don't see a point to this guide, as so many exist.
and, don't post in the dev section unless YOU developed it.

I already stated very clear *Rearranged*. I see alot of users facing the same problem that I had when I m doing the S-Off. After I succeeded in S-Off, I find that some steps are inappropriate. So Im just putting a little effort here to help those who cant managed to S-Off.

And I stated clear I do not take any credit for this. Its not my work. Im just trying to help and contribute back to the community. So what is the problem? You dont face such problem doesnt means others dont. Probably thats why you dont SEE the point.
