Guys i am new to andorid world
I just rooted my htc one x(at&t) by one click method.... Now how can i unlock my network so that i can use other sim

Well at the moment we don't have a free way of doing that without S off. But you can easily and cheaply purchase a "unlock code" online. Just Google it

No, root does not give you SIM unlock.

As the previous response already said, there is currently no free way.

Bootloader unlock gives you the ability to flash custom ROMs, custom recovery, radios, kernels, etc. You don't have access to those partitions otherwise, even with root.
