Download and Install Flashtool from here.
http://androxyde.github.com/

This will eliminate the need to install the drivers yourself.

I had an issue flashing it with Win7 x64. So had to use a Virtual Machine to get this done.

Hello Andreas
It is tested and working fine on my Sola.
But you should update adb, adb.exe, AdbWinApi.dll and AdbWinUsbApi.dll

Everything was going fine, till the very end. No root...

PS: If I try and run the .bat as Administrator I get many messages saying that "path was not found"... only error messages appears, and nothing else happens.

I can confirm it does work on LG Optimus L5, using v13. I did not run it as administrator and had the phone in only charging mode.

I messaged bin4ry yesterday trying to get a better understanding of how/why this works but I guess he is busy.

I am trying to understand why it doesnt work on my Transformer Prime.

I can see the restore occur, the files get created (file 44 and file99 in /data/data/com.android.settings.a) I can even get the symbolic link created from file99 to data.prop. What is the purpose of the symbolic link?

After the link is created the script just reboots. The followup steps fail on the busybox copies with the "Are you root?" question.

What step is it that gives allows busybox to copy on the reboot? what are the purpose of the symlinks?

Thanks!
