We are finally at beta status woooot!!! Been only on cm 10 since alpha 4 and watched it improve. Good job and thanks

Thanks for all your hard work you have done for all of us. We all know you do this for no compensation, basically just for a love of programming and flexing that genius android brain of yours. Using your ROM on my phone has given the e4gt new life every time a new release is put out. Its so great you and chris came together in a sense and made something for everybody. You guys have my utmost respect and gratitude. Keep it up and always enjoy what you do

How dose one flash this if running another rom based on jelly bean (cna rom)

Like any other rom full wipe to avoid any hiccups and flash away


1)Make sure you're on a verified safe CWM

2)Make a Nandroid

3)Wipe data/factory reset in recovery

4)Wipe cache/dalvik-cache

5)Flash ROM [DO NOT FLASH FROM AGATS, SLESHPICS OR RUJULEUS RECOVERY!]

6)Flash JB GAPPS

7)Reboot and enjoy

Can I flash the "safe recovery" if I'm on a jelly bean build little confused can u clarify I don't wanna brick my device

    You guys kill me. I try to keep up with the threads and read every post but it gets very old reading post after post about the same exact issue with no logs to support. (Thanks to the two people who did post logs).

    We are aware of the clicking issue. When I talked to chris41g this morning he said he fixed it. It should be in tonight's nightly. Once we have tested a few other things we will put out another release build.

    For those commenting or asking about the nightlies. Night before last, the build failed due to CM upstream. Last night the build box was shut down due to the storm that passed through the area.

    Instead of reading the past 200+ posts, here's a quick guide for those with better things to do.

    WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT BETA 1
    • It has great battery life and is mostly stable, but we are going to experience problems with the JB gapps because it's made for the Nexus, not the E4GT.
    • Most people are having issues with gallery.apk force-closing, but this may be fixed in future releases with changes to build.prop.
    • You should not use any modem other than FF18 (which you can find here), or else you will have weird clicking in calls (unless your phone is plugged into a charger).
    • Underclocking is correlated with deep-sleep lag and phantom softkeys.
    • Some people are experiencing LoS (again), but Sprint is also doing tons of tower maintenance. We don't know who to blame for LoS.
    If you find a bug, attach a logcat. Please do not post about bugs already mentioned unless you have something new to add.

    it does not work mrchicken, but i recently bought an otg cable, and an mhl cable just to get them working.. but in the future..
