FAQ + Tutorial

DutchDanny Install method for HTC One X

On Android - Within ROM
1 - Backup all user apps with Titanium Backup
2 - Backup a few System apps, like: mail, IME dictionary, call log
3 - Backup current rom with TWRP
4 - Put latest BinDroid XTC ROM on your Internal Storage

Boot into Bootloader
1 - Clean cache: fastboot erase cache
2 - flash boot.img: fastboot flash boot boot.img

Boot into Recovery
1 - Select Option to install zip
2 - Select the latest BinDroid XTC ROM
3 - Within Aroma installer select Full Wipe if coming from another ROM or no Wipe if upgrading (Wipe Recommended)
4 - Within Aroma installer choose your preferences
5 - Reboot your device

On Android - Within ROM
1 - Go through the initial setup
2 - Go to Titanium Backup and restore your System apps (as above)
3 - Reboot your device
4 - Restore all user apps with Titanium Backup once back into ROM
5 - Reboot your device again
6 - Go to settings and set your preferences
7 - Go to Sync and setup your Google account, and all other sync accounts
8 - Setup your Homescreens
9 - Restore your SMS/Text messages from SD or your Gmail account using "SMS Backup+" free from Play Store or from within HTC's Built backup/restore
10- Restore Contacts from SD, if you don't sync them with Google
11- Reboot your device, and your ready

Nice to see you here danny. But aroma isn't working. You go throught the setup. choose the options you want. It then checks the device ID and says finished without installing anything.

Try to flash again. I had this a few times on my HOX. Second flash was successful.

I've tried a few times. I just get the "Get prop asset failed" error. I think maybe because I formatted system before flashing. Aroma can't find correct device ID in build.prop. No worries I will flash stock rom and try again :laugh:

The script checks if your device is correct.

OneX plus international.

If that check fails, you dont have the correct device.

This rom had been tested on a few devices, with different hboots before release.

All went fine while testing.

My Device is the international version and the same error appears, . Works fine with maximus or RevolucionHD

I have 1.35 hboot, just flashed with full wipe all ok, device was detected correctly...
Tried it with system wiped from recovery prior flash - all good
