CyanogenMod 10.1 for Samsung Galaxy Mini 2

Quote:

Notice:
Since this ROM is tested only on GT-S6500D, it may not work on other Mini 2 models.

The ROM theoretically can be installed on:

  • GT-S6500
  • GT-S6500D
  • GT-S6500T
  • GT-S6500L

Although only GT-S6500D is supported by me (since I only have this variant of Mini 2).
Functionality can be broken on other variants.

Notice 2:
Uploading my files elsewhere (mirroring) is not appreciated.
If you need to add my files somewhere else, just post the link to my goo.im account.

Disclaimer:
If you have decided to install this ROM on your device, TheWhisp cannot be held responsible for any damage done to your phone and/or for any other kind of inconveniences.
By installing this ROM, you accept this rule.

What's not working:

* Off-mode charging (device just reboots into system)

Other issues:

* Taking video in portrait mode is not supported by Mini 2 hardware.
This breaks camcorder functionality on some apps.
* Option "Wi-Fi optimization" is not working, please disable it

Special thanks to:

People who helps me with testing and provides logs
Everyone who is working on CyanogenMod 10.1, especially the CM team itself
KonstaT - he has done an awesome job

9) Install the ROM .zip file
10) Mount /system, install Google apps
11) Done.

* Fix Bluetooth
* Fix Bluetooth tethering
* Backport UHID driver from 3.8 kernel
* Fix "adb root" bug
* Back to stock 397MB RAM size because Samsung knows the best
* More minor changes

Build 11.06.2013 (G | AFH)

* Improve screen off CRT animation (not so choppy anymore )

* Partially fixed camera ( pictures can be taken on camera apps which use older - Gingerbread APIs )
* Partially fixed camcorder ( video can be recorded at 640x480, but there is some problem with encoder, graphics are messed up )
* Panorama mode kind of works, but has some graphical issues.
* Other changes

Build 30.06.2013 (G)

* Fix VoIP in Hangouts
* Change boot logo
* Add stock Email app that was missing
* Remove some compression tool that was used for devices with low memory, not needed of us (because of this, the build is ~15MB larger)

* Fix taking pictures in all camera apps

* Update bluetooth driver to msm-3.4 kernel
* Update kernel audio drivers

Known issue: Using no mic (2-pin) headset while switching between Speaker/headphones in FM app, will cause audio routing issues (music will play through speaker). 3-pin headsets work fine.

* Linux 3.0.90
* row & bfq I/O schedulers
* Patched ondemand governor with bootpulse support
* Improved memory management
* New open-source Wi-Fi driver (ath6kl)
* Switched to NL80211 driver for wpa_supplicant & hostapd
* Fixed 2-pin headset issue
* Fixed data usage counter (now showing correct info)
* Fixed some camera issues that occurred in previous builds
* Improved video playback (maybe now we can use OMX libs from other msm7x27a devices that have official ICS/JB, dunno)
* Fixed issues (glitches) in panorama mode
* Synced with latest CM sources, of course
* A lot of other minor changes/improvements

NOTE: Wi-Fi tethering is currently broken. But it can be enabled in a weird way:
To enable:
1) Enable it in settings, it will get stuck at "Turning hotspot on..."
2) Open terminal emulator:
* su
* hostapd /data/misc/wifi/hostapd.conf
To disable:
1) Disable it in settings
2) Open terminal emulator:
* su
* rm /data/misc/wifi/hostapd/wlan0

* Wi-Fi workaround: disable option "Wi-Fi optimization"
* Fixed dithering issue
* Some improvements in Power HAL
* Button backlight now turns on/off at the same time as LCD
* Some other minor changes
* ( The same workaround is needed for Wi-Fi AP)

* Increase max Wi-Fi power for weak signals
* Attempt to fix hidden SSIDs

* Fixed Wi-Fi tethering (workaround isn't needed anymore)
* Official Android 4.2+ Bluetooth stack - Bluedroid - is used.

Issues: deep sleep is not working when Bluetooth is enabled. Disable it when you don't need it.

Yes, but I will test more today.. and yes, first time you install the rom there's a random restart after the system loads but after there isn't another restart, it works.
