I'm running the official build (2.3) but have noticed YouTube ads aren't being blocked.

Does 2.5 block them or do they use the same blocking methods and sources?

Start AdAway and check is there any updates. I'm using 2.5 and all is blocked.

I've had problems with the last Google Play published version (v2.2?) - it failed applying the new hosts file. v2.5 from OP works fine on CM10.2

I'm have a verizon galaxy S3 and recently upgraded to CM10.2 and I cannot get this to work either. It doesn't matter what I try using whether it be adaway, adfree or adblock plus it simply will not block ads anymore. I've even checked the hosts file and it's set up properly.

In what websites do you have ads? Do you have ads in youtube? Could you send me links with ads to see if i have them or not?

Can't get it running on CM7, any ideas on how to get it work?

Hi i am on 2.5 since yesterday the host updates does not seem to be updated as in when start up there will be indication of new updates but upon installing & rebooting & rechecking it will still say there are new updates & will keep on cycling. Have tried 5 times in a row.
Anybody got the same?
