Hello,
I have some trouble with several .wav ringtones on my xdaII - they just won't play, instead the windows-sound is used. These .wav-files are about 300k in size.
Is there any limit in the size of ringtones or do I make some kind of mistake? Ringtones with a smaller size are played just fine.

Kind regards
Sascha

AFAIK there isn't a limit to ringtone length, however the wav file must be in PCM format, not compressed. You can use the 'recorder' application in windows to easily change between formats until you find one that works.

the only limit really is the lenght of the rings of the phone before it goes to voicemail, you can have a 7 min ringtones, but anything after the fourth tone, would be a waste, since its never going to be heard
