I found a tool can root Galaxy S3 Mini without flashing the rom. I use the tool to root my S3 mini yesterday.
But the tool only use Chinese word.

1. Download the software from the below link. And install it.
products.mgyun.com/api/downjump?id=103

2. Plug your S3 mini to USB port and execute the tool.

3. Press connect button.

4. Press root button and wait 2 min.

5. S3 mini will reboot by itself. The device will get the root after booting.

I have just used this software to root a T599N (Metro pcs) and it worked.

I think this root method should be in the stickies.

Thanks john.shen

Not to long ago, I tried this with a Xperia tipo and worked, that chinese SW rooted and installed SuperSu on the Tipo.

Dont know if the SW contains some type of bloatware or something like that but the Tipo works flawlessly

Gonna try it on the s3 when I have a chance... thanks OP

Yes, you need to enable debugging for this and it worked great on my S3 mini (the pictures helped as I cannot read Chinese either)
