Introduction :
Hallo, I want to tell you another root method for xperia m dual. I have try many rooting tool until I found this method. Btw this isn't my work, I'm just sharing it.

Requirement :

1. Download tool to your pc here Cydia Impactor (Read the website for detailed information about the exploit method.)

Step (Half Root) :
1. Extract the files.
2. Open the impactor.exe.
3. Connect your phone to your pc with usb debugging enabled.
4. In the impactor app click start.

5. After that download SuperSU from playstore.
6. Open the SuperSU app and click continue->normal install.
7. At this step your phone has been half rooted, to make it full rooted follow the step below.

Step (Full Root) :
1. Download and install the latest stable Busybox - thanks to @esrom02
2. Download Tool By Anto Kus to your pc and extract it. (Download here Rootfixer(2shared) or Rootfixer(mediafire)) source : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2457174
3. Connect your phone to your pc with usb debugging enabled.
4. Run supersu.bat from extracted tool by Anto Kus.
5. Wait until the phone reboot and then wait until the supersu.bat finish.
6. Enjoy your full rooted phone, you can install link2sd, foldermount, etc.

For Unroot :

Successfully updated Firmware and now looking forward for Rooting, and before that do i need to use the Tool by Anto Kus for Full Root? The source in OP was for 1904/1905 and I'm on 2004.

It's okay, just run that tool and you'll be full rooted.

You must run that tool to full root your phone, if you don't, you will still have auto reboot if you want to use folder mount or link2sd.

No, this method work just for android without master key bug patch, because this method use that bug to exploit the su binary and luckily sony not patch that bug.

strange when I tried to root, a dialog box appeared saying "Device not found". Any advice? thanks

Edit: I suspect I need to install the Sony companion software to get the drivers! My first sony phone :P

Edit 2: Yes, that was the problem! Thanks for the rooting tip!

This method has fully rooted my Xperia™ M Dual C2004.

I just used this Application and then used ES File Explorer to Mount R/W and viola! No reboot problem.

EDIT : THIS WILL NOT GIVE FULL ROOT. FOLDER MOUNT CAUSED REBOOT. BUT AFTER APPLYING THE PATCH FROM [NUT] EVERYTHING IS FINE.
