Calling Not Working...

Hi,

I'm new to XDA so sorry if i'm posting this in the wrong area!

I can't seem to hear the other person on the other side when I'm calling them normally. Is this a problem with the ROM and if so how would I go about fixing this?

Thanks,
Callum

Try restarting the device .
If you're in custom ROM try factory reset or installing it again.
If on stock just try factory reset.
If nothing helps
Try cleaning the speaker and the microphone .

Hi Thanks,

I've tried re-installing Cyangenmod11 (The CFW that I'm on) lots of times and I'm still having the same problem.
It's not a hardware issue as the 'voice recorder' app can hear me and the speakers also work with playback too so I'm unsure what the exact software problem could be?

Thanks,
Callum.

Try installing some other ROM and test bro
Or just flash the system image.

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    This Support of the CyanogenMod is Unofficial and the sources are up at Androidarmv6

    Nice work yajnab :) I'm further to see how it works (downloading...) I stopped working on CM11 becasue I lost interest on it, but I'll try it, if I think development is needed (on androidarmv6) I'll come back to help you guys, I did not develop cm10.2 becasue I did not have interest, but maybe I do on CM11 :) hopefully I'll review all androidarmv6 gerrit and make my own build, on my ****ty PC you know dude ;) nice work, and HAPPY christmas to all :highfive:
