Im trying to install a recovery menu for my i9295 and i have followed these instructions but i get error message FAIL! on Odin. No matter which recovery file i try it doesnt work. I also tried Odin3 v3.10.6 which is newest but still the same. Only suspicious to me log entry from Odin is "There is no PIT partition."

Edit: ugh... i just needed to swap my cable from usb3 to a normal usb2 port.

The methods involved in flashing custom roms and rooting your phone is highly custom and may result in bricking your device, and has nothing to do with Google or the device manufacturer that is Samsung in our case. Also rooting your device will void its warranty and you will be no longer eligible for any kind of free device services by the manufacturers/warranty providers.
