Hi guys

Device: HTC Desire GSM
HBoot: Rev 1.49.12 (not ssure but i think it was this)
Recovery: ??? (issue)
ROM: cm-7.2.0.1-bravo (issue)
condition:
Volume buttons dont work due to physical disconnectivity, not software related

Problem:

code - "fastboot boot recovery.img" (tried with 4ext and CWM, same result) result - reboots showing HTC boot screen + 1 vibation, reboots again showing HTC boot screen + 7x Vibrations and stays on screen

sometmes after removing the battery, I leave it for a couple of hours it for some reason boots into the OS, after going to playstore and presing the power button, the phone rebooted and went into a: reboot, 1 vibration loop

info

can erase cache, dalvik partition in fastboot
code - "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" (tried with 4ext and CWM, same result) result - successfully written and flashed
code - "fastboot devices" result - shows connected device like normal

I have done quite alot of research and I am glad that there are a few posts on KitKat versions for the Desire, the Desire is an ALL time favourite, wonderful device, thus I want to resurrect mine...

What causes:
1. after flashing a recoveryt that the device wont boot recovery .img or wont boot into recovery from fastboot?
2. after flashing a rom, it wont boot rom

please note, although it happens to many people, the device does heat up quite a bit after a short period of time in fastboot USB mode
